Post Office Shops -- 30 Minute Rule Question

I have several post offices that close during the day for an hour or so. Does anyone know if the 30 minute rule applies to just the first opening and last closing of the day, or does it apply to each opening and closing during the day?

I did one today that opens at 8:30am, closes at Noon, reopens at 1:00pm, and closes for the day at 5:00pm.

Thanks for any info you may have on this...

I THINK it's just the initial opening and closing that applies. Check with the scheduler, but that's the way I interpreted the guidelines.
In the past, when it was subcontracted out, it applied to both windows.

So, 9:00-11:30 then 1:30-4:30.

Makes it tough if you are doing a route of them. You have to remember which of your locations closes for lunch.
Now I'm a bit worried...when two of the most knowledgeable forum members on this project are at different ends of the answer spectrum...LOL! Guess I'll find out for sure in 3-5 days when the shop goes through editing.

Check-in JASFLALMT?? Recite the alphabet backwards.

Honestly, I wonder if they check the times that closely? I mean if you walk in at 8:12 AM, you are probably wrong. 9:12 AM, could be ok, depending on your location. Same with 5:45 PM, probably not good. Does the system flag it? The old company had the times on the form. Maybe they are in the form, but we can't see them on our end?

I almost never drink at home. I drink plenty on the integrity audits. It all evens out.

That's what I recall, too, but very few of the post offices around here close for lunch, so I never needed to pay much attention to that. I don't think I've seen specific instructions about that since they've been back with the originating MSC. Checking with your scheduler is the best idea. I'm doing two on Friday, and I think one of them closes for lunch (probably the only one in my geographic area), so I'd be interested in knowing, too.

I learn something new every day, but not everyday!
I've learned to never trust spell-check or my phone's auto-fill feature.
