Need ideas for the inside purchase - gas stations

It's shaping up to be a *very* busy month of gas station routes, and I don't NEED that many cookies to donate to the church, lol. How about some ideas for purchases - $1 and $2 reimbursements, that I can use in the house?? Do any of you have ideas you can share?

I have done so many gas stations lately that my daughter's car is getting gas too. I also get water.
Generic pain killers like ibuprofen or acetaminophen, rubbing alcohol, nail clippers, hydrogen peroxide, hand sanitzer, air fresheners, non-perishable foods like canned tuna or beans, healthy snacks like nuts.

Shopping the Greater Denver Area, Colorado Springs and in-between in Colorado. 33 year old male and willing to travel!
water and caffeinated beverages.

Hard work builds character and homework is good for your soul.
Arizona beverages, water, nuts, candy, paper towels, toilet paper, tissues, and soda are all items you can buy. I have purchased most of these.

Shopping Western NY, Northeast and Central PA, and parts of Ohio and West Virginia. Have car will travel anywhere if the monies right.
I buy bananas.

Arizona Iced Tea for me. I never have to buy another beverage, fridge is full of them. The yellow energy flavor is awesome btw. The Arizona company mandates their items are sold for $.99, so you can always be confident of price consistency with them. Occasionally mix in pop tarts or a granola bar if the store has labelled prices and I know it will be under a $1 or maybe $1.09.

With the $2 reimbursement, I can snag stuff like bar soap, toilet paper, plastic silverware. Probably cans of cat food I would get often, if I had a cat.

I often get to a point in my day where I can no longer refuse a $1 iced honey bun. I have no willpower.

Seriously, nobody cares that you're offended.
Bananas, can of Coke/Diet Coke, planters peanuts 2 for $1.09 bags and always check the dates, single toilet paper, toothpaste, milk, eggs, 2 sticks of butter, dishwashing liquid, cans of corn. Everything depends on where the gas station is located, if there are in immigrant "ghetto" areas they have a lot of cheap groceries, in other areas the same toilet paper is $3 so always check the price. Usually can of Coke and the planters to bag are in the $1 range category. Some local franchises have weekly specials, etc.
If close to home, will buy milk or bread. Avoid the canned goods because they can be old.
Some great suggestions so far, thank you all! We (hubby or I) normally buy packs of Grandmas cookies (.99 plus tax) and donate them to our Sunday School department - the kids love them. Sodas are out, since I had gastric bypass last year winking smiley. And since I was in the hospital for three days last week, and got docked three days pay at my everyday job...I thought this might be a good time to try to maximize those reimbursements!
I always bought a small bag of nuts and put them in my car's glove box. That way we always had snacks when traveling routes.
I never buy anything that isn't priced. What costs 99 cents at most places often ends up costing $2-$3 at the types of stores where they don't display prices. I end up buying lots of chips, even though they are closer to $2, because they almost always have the price on the bag. I especially like the smaller bags that go two for $1 or two for $1.50. The nuts work too for that reason, but I tend to eat more chips. Other of my top purchases include tacos, bananas, fountain drinks, coffee, tweezers, tire guages, cheap tools, single-use window wipes, tissue, mints, Nerds, lighters, greeting cards, and more tacos, With the $2 reimbursements I often go for groceries such as eggs, milk, sausage, grapes or vegetables, assuming they are not marked up too much and I will be home before they spoil (except for the grapes which get eaten on the road.).
While I agree, I wonder why bgriff liked this!

2 for $1 peanut bags OR a roll of Tums

LOL That covers ALL eventualities. Perfect. TUMS and peanuts, both for the glove box.

That should be a new shopper sticky right there.

The peanuts that were 2 /$1 are now 2/$1.09 in my area so I only get one now because I refuse to pay more. Love the dill flavored ones. But I don't understand buying other goods that are over priced, often more that the dollar you would get back. I would not buy a $4 ($3 after reimbursement) loaf of bread when I can get it for about a dollar at a regular grocery or discount bakery. Same with milk, tuna and nearly everything else in a convenience store. I rarely do the $2 reimbursed shops but those stores barely have anything under $2 either. Maybe one $1.49 bag if chips. And, yes, stores that do not have prices on their goods or shelf tags piss me right off! I make sure to include that in my report as the reason I give a lower subjective score.

BTW, how does a humungous fountain soda cost 79c but a bottle of water which has no sugar, dyes, chemicals or carbonation cost 2 or more dollars?!! Zero ingredients for 3x the price? What is wrong with this picture?
For starters, the water that goes into the fountain drink comes out fo the local water supply. It does not need to be packaged, no plastic bottle, no need to pay for shipping, no need to pay someone to load it on to a truck or to bring it into the store.

Shopping Southeast Pennsylvania, Delaware above the canal, and South Jersey since 2008
I bought a 64 oz 1% milk for $2.79 today at the $2 reimbursement gas station. At Walmart is $1.49, Target $1.99, supermarket $1.99 and Whole Foods $2.19. I see it as I still came ahead paying out of pocket $0.79. The closest Walmart is 20 minutes drive without traffic and I bought the same brand from the gas station as they have at whole foods, that has the thick white bottle that is better for maintaining the vitamins in milk.

I love the 2 for $1.09 peanuts and buy them in both sweet and plain flavor. Great snack to keep in the car especially in traffic or routes to avoid food stops.
Ah, but the water is still run through an in-store filtration system which is part of the whole fountain setup. Then there's maintenance on the fountain system, ice maker and the cost of cups, lids, straws, syrup. All those need to be shipped as well. And a higher water bill for the store.

I always get a monster lol. But that is mainly because I am addicted to them, so if I am getting reimbursed for them, then yay. ^_^
Sometimes I purchase Nature Valley Bars. That's at the locations that offer them for around a dollar. I look for the oat version. When I have enough, I crush them and add them to banana nut bread (with other times the bananas I buy at other sites).
I always buy water when nothing else is offered (but only if it is selling for a dollar or less).
Nuts can be a good option. Even if you buy way too many, you can sprinkle them in your salad.

I don't understand why you don't purchase things you would just normally purchase in a gas station? Or do you never do that? I just stock up on the same snacks and drinks I would buy anyway.
