Those were my very first thoughts also!! Dead giveaway when the time posted is several hours AHEAD of our time....that shows that it's from some foreign country, overseas. For instance, Britain is 6 hours ahead of us. So who knows WHERE this came from!!@Opanel wrote:
The date/time as shown in the fabulous opportunity hasn't even occurred yet. It is only 10:28 a.m. Eastern right now, yet this email purports to have been written by Kroger representatives on 02/05/20 at 1:20 p.m., so, unless this incredible opportunity is coming from somewhere over the Atlantic Ocean...it did, however, provide a momentary good laugh.

I'm more curious as to what the actual scam is..... Going to Kroger and shopping isn't the actual scam. Is it the typical gift card trick or something else?

Phu, you call that an opportunity???? I got a check for $2500. All I have to do is shop ANY STORE in my area, spend up to $500, and send them the rest of the $2500. I'm not even held down to one particular store. Lucky me. Lucky, lucky me.

Oh, yes, I do think it's the typical scam...they want someone to go to Kroger and buy gift cards. Just a wild guess, LOL.
