electronic audits

Has anyone done the electronic audits for Ipsos. Do they take 4 to 6 hours and is the pay worth it? What is involved?

Thanks

It's the same old audits that GFK had, not many people liked them and I heard that at first, they definitely took more than 6 hours but over time (depending on store size) people were able to do it for 6 or a little less. I am sure you can find some threads about it.

Guess what? They used to pay $150, then they dropped them to $130, and now they are $95? Is that correct?

They are different in the way the reporting is done now. In 2008 that the older thread refers they also gave $200+ bonuses (Some more than $500+) per audit.
Oh, interesting. Do you do them? How long does it take you?

Four years ago people wrote that it took a long time to do them.

The pay is $85 to $100 and you must arrive 15 minutes after opening and if finished by 5:15 can leave. Sounds like an 8 hour audit and if for $85 is $10.63 per hour. Thanks for you help Jas. I think I'll pass for now.
There are some additional threads about the audits, but I can't link them because they name the big box client specifically. A few shoppers were disappointed to invest in a tablet and the background check, only to be unable to pass the test. It is a different MSC now, but I think you might still have to pay for your own background check, not sure.
No have not done them since they changed the way it has to be reported in the store but I do not have the time to do them nowadays. I know bonuses are still being given but do not know how high they go. Do not forget ALL companies give very high bonuses at the end, even those that they claim they never offer more than $3 (LOL) bonuses, or start with dirt cheap fees for their proprietary apps shops. Some of the contracts they have with clients are do x shops monthly from total locations available to get y$ in bonuses when each target number is reached. Hey, even marketforce once called me and they gave me $150 bonus to go to the soup and sandwich shop they used to do that was 5 minutes from my house and had to be done in the next 2 hours. I did not even have to negotiate the amount.
A background and blood/urine test is required which will be reimbursed after the first shop. I enjoy revealed audits to mystery shopping but not at $10 per hour.
Not to mention that you have to pay SE tax on that...at least mileage would be a write off. I don't mind revealed audits too much and I enjoy merchandising, but there are so many variables with a gig like this since it's flat rate. You have to count on equipment functioning properly, volume of business during the audit (customers can and will get in the way), availability of store associates to assist with any issues, etc.
Not only did i not forget this but I never even learned this in my market. I just got a $13 bonus and that was a hefty one for me. After spending 3+ hours to do 2 of those shops which were a round trip of 16 miles I decided perhaps they were not worth it either. Larger bonuses I see are in the occasional $50 range but they are one off shops 450 miles from where I live.
