ShopMetrics

In a now closed thread, someone wanted mobile-friendly access. As I detest writing on my phone, and most reports have a lot of writing, I don't care about mobile access, at least not for the report. But..... I use a Mac, and ShopMetrics is the WORST platform for writing reports. I just did a report partly on a library computer, and it was a better experience. The issue (on the Mac) is that it is very difficult to actually click into a text field and write. (No, the issue is NOT that I'm using a Mac!) But really, the problem is the obnoxious attitude of ShopMetrics' developers. But more broadly, many developers (of these platforms and elsewhere in the tech sector) have this same problem. They are not client-focused.

And incidentally, Sassie also has tech issues (different ones), but the arrogance is the same as at ShopMetrics.

The mobile app works great, but a pro-tip from a long-time shopper.... Use an office type of program, which I prefer Excel, to export the report and use that to help write and track long narratives. I found out building my own workbooks, whether to keep track of my shop visits, making sure I'm covering all questions on the report and to also automate grueling narratives as well with some upfront coding.
