Presto, Geoverify

I've been doing gas station audits for 6 years but I am new to Presto and Geoverify. I tried my first BP today and could not sign in at the station. I passed the quiz and uploaded Presto to both my phone and computer. Is Geoverify a 2nd app I have to upload? I'm doing something wrong. Any suggestions? Thanks.

I had the same thing happen. I am standing next to the building and got an error message my location couldn't be verified. I did all the things to fix glitches: restart the app, clear cache, restart my phone. Finally it worked but then around 4 pm I couldn't even get the App open.
Geoverify is a different app that you find in the app store. The code that you get with the app you put it in the box in sassie reports. For presto, I unlock the report at home. Then when I reach the location I open the report and on top I click on re-verify location. Then I just take all the photos and go home to put the report using presto but on my laptop. If you can not access the presto report at the gas station, take the pictures and as you drive away continue to try to re-verify until it says you are close enough and locks the position. There is no reason to waste your time to make it work there.
When I did the car counts, I had the same thing happen. My separate GV worked, so I figured it was a cog in the machine.

I believe that Presto picks up the last location you were at until you begin to take pictures at the new location. So, just check in so that the report will open, start taking pictures, then recheck in and it should work. When I started doing that I quit having issues.
Has anyone had a shop accepted when the app verifications tells you, that you may be too far from the location for the report to be accepted? I had my first one today. I know I was at the right location. I have been there many times before and my GPS took me right to it. However, when I went to reverify on my phone the app said that I was 1.7 miles away. My Wifi was turned off so I know I was using my phone's data plan. I tried reverifying 7-8 times, even closing the Presto app and turning my phone off. It came up the same each time. I decided to drive away as I'm not willing to risk taking time and spending money for something that I will ultimately not be paid for. Has anyone had this happen? Were you paid or was the shop rejected?
My shops were never rejected. I always have GeoVerify as a backup. There was never an issue.

Nope. However, I am yet to have a shop that only uses GeoVerify as a proof of visit. I think the MSC's would love to be able to use GeoVerify and not deal with exterior pictures, receipts, etc., but recognize that it still needs work....

Hard work builds character and homework is good for your soul.
There is a tab or popup that allows you to report that there's a problem with verifying the location. When It tells me I am in the wrong place, which is everytime, I just report the problem. They were all accepted with no questions. If it's rarely correct it seems pointless to even have it at all IMO.
Thanks to all who offered assurances. I will go ahead with the rest of the shops on my to do list.
