Deodorant Buy & Try

I saw those jobs and passed on them because I knew the products were pricey and thought they were only going to pay the $3 and I'd be out the rest. Now that I know it's $3 plus a reimbursement, I'll definitely grab them. TY for posting.

I've always gotten reimbursed for my Try & Buys. I would not do them otherwise.

On another note, shoppers have to write a review for the products. My review for the overpriced deodorant was negative. My review for the shower gel was positive. It was published somewhere online, so FYI.

That's on my board because I tried the product and liked it.

I find that invasive. It's going to stay there until it disappears.

yeah, I don't have 40 followers. I might have 5. I use Facebook to hold my gaming chips when I upgrade my phones.
I have about 300 friends: billions of cousins, family, classmates. I would never feel comfortable pushing a product on them that I got paid to review.

I didn’t do it either. I was just putting it out there.

As soon as I used the expensive deodorant, my skin started to burn. This didn't happen with the other buy and try deodorant. Has this happened to any of you?
Is that the same as the drug store where you spent about a C note on some kind of hair care product last year?
2stepps, different store.

Niner, had you recently shaved? Are you allergic to the essential oils?

Hopefully, you put that in your review.

I don't know why it happened, but I did put it in the review. I'm hoping they still pay me with a negative review after spending $13 and destroying the barcode.
I got paid and my review was brutal.

What didn't you like about it?
The $12.69 price tag and the fact that it was not very strong. I sweated during a heavy workout.

The price is definitely high. They claimed 48 hour coversge. The other deodorant buy and try was less than half the price and didn't have aluminum.

Isn't it deodorant, not antiperspirant?
It's an antiperspirant.

I did the deodorant and shower gel that were under $5 each and I loved both of them. I got the deodorant with chamomile and I love the smell. I also did the hair dye one and I hated it. Funnily enough, that is the only one that hasn't been accepted and due to be paid. From Ibotta, I got $3.50 back plus 2% of the total from Ibotta and a zillion points from Fetch rewards. The only ones that are left on the board in my area are the 2.6 oz antiperspirant deodorants and they don't stock that size at my store.

Ibotta let me double dip on the expensive deodorant. They gave me $3 and $2 on the same product. Only one item on the receipt. Weird...
SoCalMama, they might have had a bonus for it. I got the .50 bonus in addition to my $2 & $1 individual rebates.

I put the brand name in the search bar and two products showed up. Then I went to redeem and two products went on one receipt. There could have been a bonus too?
I literally have a horde of body wash and soap now. I gave away about 100 bars of soap last year. I don't need any more soap...
Jenny, what did you not like about the hair dye?

I managed to get 2 deodorants and a body wash, came to almost $24! Got it all back about 2 days later, and $9 in fees. Definitely worth it. Plus I got $5 extra from Ibotta thanks to the info in this thread! smiling smiley
Honny, I didn't like the color. My natural color is medium to dark blonde and I got the medium blonde. I don't have a lot of grays, but it did not cover all of them. It also made my hair darker and had a weird green tint to it when I first did it. That is less noticeable now, but I just don't like the color, it doesn't look like it has any life in it at all. Luckily, I don't really care about hair that much and I'll probably dye it again in another week or so. The one thing I did like about it, was the smell, I was smelling my hair for hours afterwards lol.

Thanks Jenny. Blonde is very difficult to achieve and even moreso out of a box.

Honny, very much so! I've been dying my hair since I was a teenager (though I realized it's been almost a year since I have done it lately) I would have been happy if it stayed around my color or at least didn't make it green and darker lol

You can get a toner to knock out the green.

When I dyed my hair platinum blonde, it went through stages. One stage was Crusty the Clown Orange. A toner removed that.

I didn’t care for the shower gel, particularly the scent. I love honey but it definitely did not smell like any honey I’ve ever had. And the scent lasted all day so I kept getting whiffs of it. sad smiley
They have a box of granola bars on the buy & try today, plus an extra $1.50 back on Ibotta
