When you get sick and miss a shop...

Hey there! I woke up really sick yesterday and basically slept the whole day away. This morning I awoke to realize that I was supposed to do a (online order purchase/return) shop yesterday and I simply forgot! I immediately emailed the scheduler to ask if I should go ahead and place the order today but I never got any reply.

Not sure what to do here. Any advice? I guess I could go ahead with it because there is very little risk (The business offers free returns) but I don't know if that would be acceptable to the company.

Did you ask to reschedule, or is there any way to request a reschedule on the website?
Unless it is the end of the project (which you would know based on bonuses) or the shop lists specific days of the week, they will almost definitely reschedule the shop. All they can do is reschedule or reassign. I would go ahead with the shop.
I had requested to reschedule. The scheduler finally replied at 9pm saying "if I could do it that night it would be fine." I had already gone to bed, but I checked email at 3:30am so I went ahead and placed the order. Hopefully all will be well.
