Mystery shopper with money order

I signed up for a mystery shopper to make 170.00 the sent me a money order for 985 and 15.00 to go to moneygram and rate the customer service. The strange thing is they didn't fill out the money order, but did give me the info to fill it out. Has anyone had this kind of experience?? Please let me know if it is real.

Classic scam. You can report it to the postal inspectors.

Also might want to reconsider having your email address as your username.

It's fake. Mystery shopping companies do not pay in advance. And who in their right mind would send a large sum of money to someone who had never worked for them before? It doesn't happen. Also, we typical make about $15-$30 per assignment, sometimes less, sometimes more, but it usually takes about a month to get paid.

DO NOT WIRE THEM ANY MONEY. You will be out a lot of money if you do.

It is not free money they do that thinking that 90% of people are honest and will send them the cards or whatever they say. Now if they send it to someone like them they are not out anything because they have no money invested.
