IMSC: What is it? What purpose does it serve?

we should all be sensitive to sexism. aware..woke. but by adding the word hyper to essentially turbo charge a real issue which impacts everyone, this only serves to divide people and, thus, sexism continues. mission accomplished, at least for a little while longer.

Apparently you missed where I said that was a poor choice of words........

here's what you posted earlier: " I realize hyper sensitive was not the correct phrasing "

but replied with this:

No, I did not miss any part. As a shopper, I pay close attention. What you are presenting are two concepts, similar, but different.

Not to be hyper-sensitive.....

Huh? I used the phrase hyper sensitive. I realized it was a poor choice of words and apologized. Then you chastised me for using the phrase. I said you must have missed where I said it was a poor choice of words. You said you didn't and I'm saying 2 things?

Or did I miss something?

I'm saying one thing. I used a phrase that was a poor choice of words and apologized. What you're blabbing abtout I have no clue

Oh dear, we're turning into Volition.... this should include a link to the thread "What effect has the Coronavirus had on you...?" Without shops we clearly have too much time on our hands! How 'bout them Cubs?? smiling smiley

Shopping domestic and international locations since 2003.
@SS4U, in bgriffin's defense it was used in an attempt to point out my vigilance regarding sexism lent weight to my view this was not a case of sexism. He quickly retracted the comment. It would be nice if none of us ever made verbal missteps it just doesn't jive with reality. It would also be nice if we didn't have to get beaten over the head about them after sincerely walking them back.

Equal rights for others does not mean fewer rights for you. It's not pie.

NOW I'm depressed.... my Cubs! Oh how I miss them.
Although I am definitely not politically correct, I do respect those folks for whom that stance is important. My take on the comment concerning Lisa is that Griff, personally knowing Lisa, advanced an opinion, she disagreed, Griff posted an apology and Lisa accepted. To my way of thinking, it should have been end of story.
Question:
IMSC: What is it? What purpose does it serve?

Answer: Pam saw it as a way to make money when an MSPA shopper's conference was cancelled. She quit her job and made this her full time gig.

Oh dear. That's not a very lucrative income.
It could have been - selling an ebook to thousands of people. Charging people for an annual membership and charging them for conferences. I have no idea if the "training" was free?
There were a lot of end points in this thread that should have been end of story. Perhaps we do have too much time on our hands.

Why don't we stick to safe, less controversial topics like politics, religion and conspiracy theories.
