MSC for this??

I know we're not allowed to name the company & MSC in the same post so being vague. I read a blog the other day that mentioned doing a MS for a certain popular fondue restaurant and wondered if anyone knew if they're still shopped & if so who which company?!

I did them years ago but have not seen them done it the past 5-6 years. Check the date on the blog you read. Remember things don't just go away by themselves on the internet.
Ahhh..the Fondue restaurant..That was one of my first MS dining experiences and it was great. I haven't seen it in many years. It was so different and fun and romantic.

The blog is a couple of years old, I just wasn't sure if they were still getting shopped or not and thought someone here may know smiling smiley
If any of them are still shopped it would be a purely local event. I agree with MsJudi that it was a different, romantic and fun experience. We did them every time I was in rotation. In reality, now that I am thinking about it, those shops ended with the 2008-2009 recession/depression. Every time I drove by the restaurant I was relieved to see they were still in business because I had hoped the shops would come back when the economy got better.

The 1980’s called. They want their fondue set back.
I didn't even know that chain was still in business. Never shopped it. Never wanted to. Reimbursement did not cover the cost, from what I remember. But at least the MSC made that clear in the job offer, which is nice of them.
My very favorite dining shop used to be the Cheesecake Factory, even though they were reimbursement-only and the reimbursement didn't cover the cost of what I got, ever, except when I did the take-out shops. I still did them and loved them and used the shops like a $$$s-off coupon. I actually discovered Cheesecake Factory on a mystery shop. When the MSC that shopped them went bust, I haven't ever seen Cheesecake Factory again.

...and it's likely that none of us ever will:

First they stopped paying the shoppers, and now they've stopped paying rent!

Goodbye Cheesecake Factory and double-sized portions of everything...
NOOOOOOooooooooooooooo! Say it ain't so!

I took the kiddos there two weeks ago when they still were serving. On a typically very busy lunch hour, we were the only table there. The server was sad. Most of the other side of the dining room was dark. It was QUITE eerie!

I, too, found these ms'ing, and they were always my #1 favorite!
