And the PUA component on the website is schedule to go live on April 28...per the news conference from yesterday.
I have been trying to fill out the CA application all day. I get one or 2 pages done and then get kicked out of the website. Luckily it does save the pages before the page I get kicked off.
After trying all day finally was able to complete the CA EDD application. Nowhere on the application does it ask for how much money you earned or not earning now. The claim says I will receive information in the mail about my claim by 5/08.

The application asked for 2019 wages. If they cannot verify those numbers on their end, they'll reach out and ask for proof of income.

My understanding is that they will initially pay everyone at the base IC reward of $167 (+ the added $600) weekly, then adjust upward to the $450 cap through audits when they have the manpower to accommodate that.

Like many of us I work for multiple companies so the best proof I will have of employment whenever they get around to checking will be my 2019 tax form. I think I got one 1099 this year and it was later retracted. The other company I earned more than $600 from last year pays by paypal and claimed they did not need to send 1099's. So proving indiv payments from all these msc would be a really time consuming thing to have to do. But I guess since i will be getting "paid" to do so at a minimum of $600 a week I will not complain. I suspect they may never get around to asking for proof of every single $10 fee. Or perhaps they will accept spreadsheets we have filled out for ourselves
Thanks everyone. .

I think that's all you will need. Since they are asking for AGI instead of gross income, I think it's possibly a better deal to not count on the mileage deduction, and show some profit. You will also owe SE tax on the profit you claim...

Well, I always have a mystery shop profit after taking mileage and pay the Self employment tax. For me, considering I work very part time, the big payoff is the $600 a week from the feds, not the measly amt I will qualify for using my taxable work related earnings. My AGI includes many things that do not contribute to unemployment.
