Not on a shop, I saw people so happy to see each other that they smiled widely (and emitted who knows what from their uncovered mouths) and... hugged each other. They expressed elation! This exuberance was all over the place- flung from their wide open arms, sparking out of their eyes, and floating on their happy, squealing 'omgggggggggggggggg-s!!! !' Even if it were a shop, I would not have reported them because heaven forbid that someone should take this so seriously that there should come down from somewhere a few or maybe many pay grades above mine, "Thou shall not express happiness in any language, any place, any time, or any format. Especially shall thou not do this when unmasked". Can you see the protests then? If they thought they had extinguished ten commandments, what the heck would they do this, number eleven?!
Mind you, all visible employees were masked and following distance, counting, and cleaning protocols. Customers did a good job of maintaining distance between themselves and others. Customers were encouraged to wear masks but none were banished for being mask-less.
I miss seeing the familiar signs of happiness.
