MMS??

In the realm of mystery shopping, what does MMS mean? Apparently it is a type of shop. I know MMS related to text messages but I don't think that is the same thing that they are referring to.

I got an email from SeeLevel about this...here is all it said. It confused me, too, and I wrote back asking for guidelines and clarification:

Hi All!
I NEED HELP!! I hope everyone is keeping healthy and safe! If you are not quarantined and would like to make some money, I would love your help! Please email, call/text me at 484-393-1660 ASAP! These are easy MMS shops for $25/shop and there is no limit to how many you can do! However, there is a 6-month rotation going to the same location! PLEASE HELP IF YOU CAN! Thanks in advance!smiling smiley Colleen
We need to know what MMS shops are, Colleen!

Based in MD, near DC
Shopping from the Carolinas to New York
Have video cam; will travel

Poor customer service? Don't get mad; get video.
I thought they were shops that used the Multi Media camera app, but looking them up it would be MMP Multi Media PRO
I emailed also to ask what MMS was. Glad I'm not the only one who didn't get it.

This illustrates the problem with abbreviations. Last year, I replied to a post with an opinion 180 degrees out of phase with that of another shopper. He/she responded with a terminus of YMMV. The only possibility I could come up with was "you make me vomit." Later, I learned its actual meaning.
I sent back a similar email. No response.

Motorcycle Motor Sports would be my guess as these are the shops where you have to inquire about a specific motorcyle, UTV, etc

Kim
Yup. This is the place to start. Good job! smiling smiley

@LuvsTraveling:

I googled it and here was what i saw:

Multimedia Messaging Service
Multimedia Messaging Service (MMS) is a standard way to send messages that include multimedia content to and from a mobile phone over a cellular network. Users and providers may refer to such a message as a PXT, a picture message, or a multimedia message.

So maybe it has some thing to do with cell phone use or a device that works with a cell?
So it could be a visit to inquire about them?
Kimmiemae was right. In one of the emails it did clarify that it had to do with those UTV/ ATV/ 4-wheeler type machines.
I think these are Monterrey Mystery Shop locations. If memory serves, they moved to See Level for scheduling/ performance of shops.

I always thought MMS was the little chocolate candies. You mean they are not. Well, I am glad that they keep eating the Hazelnut ones.
That would be M&MS. smiling smiley - we need an M & M's emoji

Don't even get me started on how good hazelnut and chocolate is together. I actually just bought some hazelnut flour to make hazelnut chocolate chip cookies. I was kind of astonished that I found it. Will only be a splurge once in a while since it's on the expensive side.

I Googled it before posting here. That is why I said that I know about MMS related to texting but that is not a shop.
The old company that did these shops and still may have the contract and just sub-letted the shops to seelevel was Monterey Mystery Shopping (MMS). They paid $40 or $50 base when they were done by MMS and often bonused more.

Shopping Western NY, Northeast and Central PA, and parts of Ohio and West Virginia. Have car will travel anywhere if the monies right.
