JITB shops disappeared again?

I took a few at the higher fee this morning and then all disappeared? Anyone else?

I did one yesterday and have another one scheduled for late next week. I did note that the price of the JIB combo went up compared to last time I went. Makes sense...
They may have changed the patterning again in an attempt to get more of them done for lower fees - perhaps to take advantage of a large number of new shoppers? Word did get out that they were over-budget before Covid-19, so they might have re-evaluated their approach in hopes of improving the bottom line.... When the cheapest meal costs $7.50, that $8.00 payment is not that exciting, though....

Hard work builds character and homework is good for your soul.
@MFJohnston "When the cheapest meal costs $7.50, that $8.00 payment is not that exciting, though...."
YOU SAID THAT RIGHT!
Every day I get a list of JIB shops in my email, so they have not gone away. Their base rate here is $7, but the combo costs $6.39 for the smallest size, no cheese.
In my area the outlying locations are posted at $15 and $17, but the nearby locations are posted at $8
I have two small routes (local) assigned for $15-$18 apiece. Ordering the cheapest (allowed) burger, with value fries and water, I can get in just under $5, so it's still profitable at that level.
The shops are still there except for those that have been grabbed by other shoppers anxious to take any job to get back to work.

Since when is water allowed again?
Did your scheduler tell you that? There’s nothing in the guidelines I received that forbids water - so far no one has said anything about it (doesn’t mean they won’t)... I can order a small unsweetened tea...but that’s basically colored water, lol. I don’t drink soda at all. And since we don’t evaluate the drink, not sure what difference it makes, except to force you to spend more $...
Bullet point 2 under overview and bullet point 2 under when to shop both specify fountain drink.

Water, with ice, from the fountain...I’m not trying to be argumentative, just saying that’s what I order. If you were limited to soda, it would say so, but they allow tea as well. That does not come from the fountain.
@Mousegal Have you been able to order water and still get your shop approved? I know a while ago water used to be an option, but like @sestrahelena said, I took the new guidelines to mean we had to order a fountain drink (i.e. soda or iced tea). I'm just wondering, because it WOULD be nice to lower out-of-pocket costs for this shop. The expense is what has kept me from doing any for over a year.
In February I emailed the scheduler to ask if ordering coffee was acceptable. She said it was, even though the guidelines indicate you must order a fountain drink. I know this isn’t the same as (free) water, but it’s not a “fountain drink” either. I’m surprised that they are allowing water but glad it’s working for you Mousegal!
Hmmm. I would love to lower my cost. And don't even like soda. When the next opportunity arises, I will ask the scheduler specifically about that so that I can have my own personal email response as to Yes or No for water. Just in case. Thanks!

I asked a scheduler and she said water was specifically not allowed — “anything except water”. As much as I’d love to try it, when I do these as a route I don’t want to risk it... even if one or two were accepted, I’m not sure if when I did 20 they would be lol
There must be different schedulers with different interpretations of "fountain drink." Strange.

I've done a dozen or so of these shops the last 2 weeks. I've always ordered water, and they've been approved. Total shop costs me $4.23. Usually don't do them until the flat fee hits $12.00.
