This was the same with mine. I didn't know you could remove or change it. It also helped put me over reimbursement.

The tip amount is set during checkout. You can make it whatever you want. Go into the app and you'll see.

It's in the guidelines to tip 10% at least if it's curbside/carryout. I wouldn't want my shop to be rejected over something like that.

Maybe we are shopping for different MSCs; my guidelines do not mention tipping. (I just double-checked).
Regarding the posts about not being able to correct wrong orders, my shop instructions don't mention that; however, there is a form question asking if the employee offered to check the order or asked if the shopper wanted to. That tells me that if your order gets checked before the employee leaves your car or before you leave the pick-up area, you can get your order corrected.

Regarding the post about Applebees, some time ago, I did a curbside. The employee gave me my bag then left. I checked it before restarting my car and found something missing. I called them from my parking spot. The MSC didn't penalize me but told me it was a no-no. After a brief back and forth, I learned that if I had checked the bag before the employee left, it would have been fine.
Pretty sure there is only one MSC. And it is in the guidelines under During your shop - 5th bullet point

I am glad that the MSC did not penalize you. Most MSC will do that.
As far as I know Sonic is the only shop that will let you correct your order if its wrong.
I've never had to do it, but Five Guys says they want to know.

I had to correct the same order twice at a Five Guys. I didn't shop there for quite a while after that. I rarely have subpar reports for the locations I do. This one particular time was a doozy! My report was accepted with no questions asked.
I got an email this morning begging people to pick up unfilled shops. Unfortunately, the closest one to me was a five-hour drive.

5G allows corrections, in fact they ask for it.

The fifth bullet under "During Your Shop" deals with photos in my instructions.

Kimmie, is your PDF for curbside and version 2.-4366?

Are you in CA?

I am in NY. Yes, the guidelines are for curbside and it is definitely in there!

I downloaded "TexasRoadhouseCurbside-2.-4366.pdf" on 3/15/21 and when I search for "tip" in the .pdf nothing comes up. I re-read it and still can't find it.

Apparently the 3. -4366 version wasn't attached to my shop on 3/15. When I logged in just now and checked the guidelines, the 3. -4366 version is what came up. In the top left corner of the web page .pdf it says "TexasRoadhouse Curbside -3.16.21.

Yes tipping of 10% is in there.
I'm craving their totally loaded (bacon and all) extra cheesy fries (w/ two sides of dipping ranch)......Hurry up stupid, Virginia, and let me get vaccinated!!!!
I didn't realize that they changed it that recent. I just did one last week but hadn't done one since before the pandemic and that was a sit at the bar one. Won't be doing that one again for a while.

Unless the guidelines say not to tip, why would anyone not tip 10%, especially during a pandemic?

I totally agree.
Interesting. What has that done to tipping norms of 15-20%?

In CA, the servers are getting $14-$15/hour plus tips.

I won't do a dine-in or a bar shop. The location near me is always mobbed, and I don't trust that they're following COVID guidelines. When I was there for pick-up, the parking lot was just as mobbed as it was pre-COVID. And eating at a bar right now? Not for me.

I won't be eating inside TXRH for probably a few more months, but I found this interesting:

ST. PAUL, Minn., March 18, 2021 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Ecolab Inc., the global leader in water, hygiene and infection prevention solutions and services, is pleased to announce that Texas Roadhouse has earned the Ecolab Science Certified™ seal at more than 600 restaurants in 49 states. The seal signifies Texas Roadhouse’s commitment to rigorous, science-based cleaning protocols, training and audits that build both guest and employee confidence. Texas Roadhouse, one of the nation’s fastest growing casual restaurant groups, was the most popular chain restaurant in America during the pandemic, according to marketing research company Top Data. . .

The program was informed by proprietary research1 that showed 66% of restaurant customers said they feel “extremely” or “very safe” knowing a restaurant is cleaned with hospital disinfectants*. The research also found that consumers feel safer knowing that an external, independent Ecolab auditor – particularly one with expertise cleaning and disinfecting hospitals – has audited a facility’s cleaning practices.

I’d be a lot more impressed with a press release that announced the air filtration systems had been upgraded.

I agree.

I still won't be eating in, however, until we get more of the U.S. population vaxed. Even if they had UV zappers integrated into their ducts and HVAC systems, I just don't like how packed TXRH is and the potential for virus spread when people are eating with masks off and such. . .But, I'm extra picky/careful. tongue sticking out smiley That's just me. June is my target date for first time back!

I did the dine in part with my wife an few months ago. They have divers between the booths and the restaurant was about 65 % full.

I still have not done an Bar shop yet (Neither before COVID or during COVID).
