New Krogers guidelines!

No more asking dumb questions of three department associates! Just produce evaluation, restroom inspection, front end, look for a management person and check the lot and lobby. The produce evaluation is more in depth, but you only have to try and be acknowledged by a produce associate, not ask them questions.
Yippee!!!

I did one about a week or two ago, and this change hadn't come into effect then. I'll have to go look. Oh, and my questionaire talked about the strawberries and what condition and stock was like.

I have one scheduled for tomorrow and was so happy when I read that. I'm disappointed they've changed the times to 11am but better than 4. I'm sure ti will change again soon but for now I will enjoy them.
I did my first shop since these new guidelines this weekend and it’s so much easier! I always liked these shops anyways but I really love them now!
I agree, they are great shops now. Always in need of groceries so why not get paid/reimbursed to do so.

What are the MSC's involved with Kroger?
No one will answer this question without having the Mods delete it. It is against forum rules to have the MSC listed in the same thread as the Client, in this case the Client being Kroger.

That being said, I sure wish we had some Krogers in my area! We've got just about every other well known chain in my area but this one!! Maybe someday.

Here are some of the chains that Krogers own;
Dillons
Food 4 Less
Fred Meyer
Fry's
Harris Teeter
Ralphs
Smith's

We do have Harris Teeter in my area...one now and one scheduled to open later this year. I do shop the HT chain in my area, but since we don't have Krogers, I can't compare the surveys between the two. The MSC in my area that has HT shops is one that pays on-time, once a month. The survey isn't too bad.
I like wearing a mask. Now the employees don’t seem to recognize me anymore as the mystery shopper. Even those that I would see on every visit. Of course not asking stupid questions also helps.

Don’t care for the change — I had my bonus requests all set up to where the schedulers knew what I would take, and would offer the shops without the usual BS pricing games this MSC loves to play... Now that the shops “are easier” they are playing the usual lowballing game... sorry... I’m not suddenly going to take a $10 bonus when I used to get $45. Maybe $35-40. It’s certainly easier — but not THAT much easier — and the stores haven’t magically moved closer to my house.

I was offered a $2 bonus, then up to $8. Still not interested. That store is dirty- the entire chain. So many coronavirus positive employees in each store around here. I think I’d do it for $20, but only because I use a mask and gloves all day at work and know how to use them properly. I haven’t been into that store since January.
Harris Teeter IS Kroger. Most Kroger stores across the country carry a different name. Look at the "store brand label" in different departments and you'll find the Kroger name there, even in HT.
Where are you that you get this high of a bonus?!? I usually only see $2! The most I have ever seen is $8.

I’m curious as to what the bonus structure is per area. I’m in the Midwest.

Before the changes in the report, I routinely got $10 by going through a particular scheduler. Now they don't have that luxury unless it's the last day of the shop. My distance PADS aren't quite as generous as they once were either. I have a 20 mile drive for a particular shop that used to get a $25 PAD, now it's down to $12.

So, now I'm clustering and booking three or four for the same day. They're quick and easy and essentially giving me nearly a $60 coupon if I squeeze four in. The reports take no time at all, anymore.

That never occurred to me. What a great benefit when I return to mystery shopping! I can wear a mask, baseball cap, and the clerk will not know who I am.
Yesterday, July 4th, after lunch I got emergency email requests for four Krogers shops that needed doing within the next 6 hours! Not having any plans till 8pm last night, I figured out a route for three of them that formed a nice 125 mile loup. I found a Sonic along the way and with the PAD they gave me, it turned into a $188 afternoon, including reimbursements.
If anything, the Sonic was the only hiccup as it was a holiday and they were swamped.
Just saw a notice on the MSC site that the form will change beginning for shops on or after July13th. No info provided on what will be different. Hopefully they will not be reinstituting the dumb questions to ask employees.

Gotta check every department to see if employees are wearing masks correctly.

The current project description paperwork says 20 minutes plus 10 to 15 input. The new one says 30 minutes plus 15 input. I think it is going to be more than checking for masks. I hope it is not a lot more.

Quoting myself here:

I had to do 2 of them at $25 each.

Store #1. plenty of healthy looking 50-60 WMA's who did not wear face masks. One of the companions of the WMA wore a paper mask on one ear, like an earring. I won't return to that location for any amount of money. Entitlement at it's best.

Store #2. 5 miles away from store #1. Everyone wore masks. It was the first time that I every marked every cashier question as "no." I'd go back for $25, depending on what the new form looks like.
I just took the certification. It looks like only change is checking for masks. It is still 20 minutes and 10 to input.
I got a text from a scheduler asking me to go do one of these about an hour away. I texted back and said, sure I could go. He responded that he got it filled but could schedule me the following week for $25. I said no thank you. He offered me $45 gave it away and then low balled it.
Kroger shops check parking lot foyer carts y/n produce tomatoes berries organic bananas check floor geta name mask, bakery deli-Mask y/n meat y/n grocery y/n pharmacy same two shops full checkout or Self Checkout, names of cashiers bagger if full checkout, csm where are they piece of cake no more than FIVE a day Basically thats it now from previous experience here I just know someone will pounce on me for saying the wrong word or not enough detail!! Later
Glad I was doing the Ralphs shop today. Employee in Pharmacy had her mask pulled down and was earting strawberries.
