NetSpend Background Check??

I never had to do a background for a NetSpend shop.
I’ve got four coming up and see no requirement for a background check. Perhaps it’s a different shop.
I've never had to have a background check for NetSpend, either. I've got two more locations to do next week.
Are you sure the shop offer is not a phishing attempt? These scammers can get creative.

I have done Netspend for several years and am doing 20 next week and have never had to have a background check done.
I just went in and read the description.
Here is what it says;
"NOTICE: Completing projects for this client may require you to be subject to a background check. This is NOT a background check for employment purposes, rather a compliance check to satisfy our client’s safety needs. Should a routine background check be conducted, it will be of no charge to you. If you don’t pass, the shop will be removed from your shop log, and you will receive written correspondence via US mail regarding further information and follow-up with the consumer reporting agency."
