Help!

I am doing a BP tomorrow and cannot remember or find where it says how much gas to buy. Can anyone tell me the amount. I have read the guidelines twice but still could not locate the information.

Who buys $2 worth of gas? Dead giveaway.

People down to their last $2 in change?
If you are paying with a card, they never see it.
(Disclaimer - I don't do these so I don't know the payment procedures)
Someone buying lawn mower gas.

The real giveaway is when you ask for a receipt for your 99 cent fountain drink purchase.
You would be surprised how many people ask for a receipt for even the smallest purchase. I used to run a big convenience store, and we had requests for receipts at least a hundred times a day, even for purchases under a dollar. As for buying 2 bucks worth of gas, I used to take gas cans and fill them. I then either put the gas in the car when I got home, or used it for the lawn tractor and other gas equipment.
If I have multiple shops, I've been known to drive around the corner and empty the gas can directly into the car so it's empty for the next stop.

Somebody whose real motivation for the stop is to be able to use the restroom.

Hard work builds character and homework is good for your soul.
I thought I heard them say during the training call to park at a pump then
1. Do the in store mystery shop and restroom check
2. Collect the paperwork and go back in to announce the audit
3. Go back to your vehicle at the pump and make the gas purchase to check the pump functionality and see if a receipt prints
4. Move your vehicle to a parking space
5. Take photos and complete the rest of the inspection

That way if a receipt doesn't print at the pump they will understand when you go inside to get the receipt for a $2.00 gas purchase.
