Sigh. None near me, yet. Oh well, it's not like I really need the gas these days. (Yes, I'm desperately looking for a silver lining.)
Yes, I see both the audit and the mystery shops on my job board. With record numbers of new Covid cases almost daily, however, I will not return to mystery shopping yet.
Thanks. I checked AZ and they showed so I guess it's just SoCal. At least I know the little old lady hasn't banned me again.
Wow! I did not know that there were still audits! Having always done the mystery scenario, I had only heard murmurs about the audits and thought they were now combined because of the photos needed for the mystery scenario. Now, for the first time, I can see both of them posted! The audits are showing on an independent scheduling site.
I enjoyed not having to submit an invoice! Never made sense since all the necessary info was in the report already.

Before the old company got bought out it was a function of their job board. You couldn't do both Audits and Mystery Shops even at different locations. Once you picked a program the other program left your job board.

Interesting. My experience was different. I only did the mystery shops but I saw the audits, too. This was on the old company's job board and before the company got bought out. (Well, long before the transaction was announced anyway.)
Even though I can see the audits, there is a statement in the overview to the effect of not being eligible if you have performed the mystery shops. Bummer. Looks like I'm locked into mysteries for life!
@ sestrahelena, with the old company you just had to stop doing them for 6 months and you were eligible to switch the type you did. Not sure if the same rules will apply.......

Do you happen to live in CA? They have company owned locations there that have a separate program. So you could indeed see both there. Otherwise it was a computer glitch.

Ah! Yes, I live in CA. Mystery solved. Thank you.

Are other Californians seeing the Chevron mystery shops? I only see the audits currently. I am not ready/willing to do the mystery shops yet but would like to be able to see what is available.
Many just showed up in British Columbia

For the mystery shops I am finding it difficult to do so many things at once while pumping gas. Trying to hold the nozzle at full speed then start/stop timer and pump at exactly the right second, then switching to camera to be ready for any screen messages, stopping the pump at exactly $5. Am I the only bumbling dolt who needs to grow a few more hands? I still can't work a phone one-handedly like the younguns and big-mitt people can.
NO, you are not the only one. It has been driving me crazy trying to get the correct picture! Maybe a watch would help. I;ll go see if I can find one.
I'm still not sure how I can stop the watch/timer and pump at the same time to take the picture of proof that it was over 11 seconds. So far I've been lucky and haven't needed to.
I have done AZ only one. I am finding them in NM AZ and UT. They seem not to big on route pricing at the moment.

I have not had to do one a timing(AZ,NM,UT,CO) in years. What I did was use the smartphone as the stopwatch Android app (Stopwatch Timer Javier Salmona Tools) I would pump 1 gallon stop take picture then go on to the $ 5 purchase. I am glad that that went the away of the seashell.
