My cars do not need oil changes, because I am staying home to help stop the covid-19 virus spread.
When I bought my car the dealership threw in a free oil change. I finally (14 months later) got around to using it. They also rotated the tires (on them). I was less than five miles away from the dealer when the tire pressure light came on. Left a message with the service technician but never got a call back.

Two days later I got a survey email...with a broken link. So I unloaded via email. This is the second vehicle I've bought from this dealer, and ten years ago I was less than enamored with their service. Looks like things haven't changed much. Now that my dealer freebies are used up I will return to my trusted insdependent repair shop.

I have an oil change booked Thursday - unfortunately paying for it myself!

I saw some deep discounts in my area on groupon...I have not checked tho to see if those prices include synthetic oil which most cars use these days. But they have oil changes for $24 around here.
