Mystery shopping and a potential Player 2

Hi all,

I am still getting my feet wet with mystery shopping and have about 10 shops under my belt. My wife has become interested in doing them as well and is wondering if it is allowed to have a Player 2 in this industry. We also are involved in travel hacking where it is common to have your spouse/partner sign up for cards that you are currently on a cooldown for. To translate that over to mystery shopping, if I do an alcohol compliance shop that has a 30 day cooldown, can she then do the same shop under her profile?

In the MS world that would be called a "rotation." And, it depends on the MSC and the client.

Yes, definitely up to the MSC. Some actively promote hubby/wife/spouse/partner teams, some dislike two shoppers in the same household.

Just e-mail the scheduler (or even call them!) and ASK.

Most are fine with it but ask. I will warn you from what I have heard thru this forum is two shopping accounts even different people from the same household is a no go for Market Force and they have been known to deactivate both accounts.

Shopping Western NY, Northeast and Central PA, and parts of Ohio and West Virginia. Have car will travel anywhere if the monies right.

The other thing you'll want to be careful of is anything that requires two parties like restaurants or amusement type shops will put you both on a rotation if the other is a guest of the shopper.
