LOL! I'm sorry. Maybe you can get a sliver of something useful?

To each his own--I think that's awesome. It will probably have wide appeal.

As the OP mentioned, these are sitting on the board. Applications for them are in, but it does not seem that the shops are actively being assigned.

How do you get free Kindle books through Amazon? I get one freebie via Amazon Prime. Are there other Amazon programs?

Amazon has a lot of free Kindle books. There's also Calibre, which is a free program. You can use it to read/organize public domain books, of which there are a ton on the internet if you look hard enough.

I just did an Amazon search for “Free kindle books“ and see quite a few. Many do not require a Kindle Membership or Prime.
Well, I never heard back about this shop, so I am out of here.

Based in MD, near DC
Shopping from the Carolinas to New York
Have video cam; will travel

Poor customer service? Don't get mad; get video.
I would probably like to do this, but can not get intellishop to send me a password link!!!!

There is a phone number listed under the Contact Us tab on their website. Shopper Support Line: 866.234.1423
I never seen this shop on my job board including the first day I got the email.. I got it through a link in an email about a week ago. My contact is shannon.scarberry@intelli-shop.com I am not sure if they are still offering them as they may have filled whatever quota they have for these shops. I am almost finished reading the book and find it interesting. I looked at the website and they have now 12 reviews, all 5 star and several people offering to sell almost new copies for a discount. I am wondering if any of those are shoppers or friends of the author. The book was released just a few days ago.
Use the regular Amazon search bar and search for free Kindle books. You won't find best-sellers, but there are a lot of public domain books as well as promotions. Most of the latter are short books by unknown authors.

@sandyf That's the same email listed for my contact, but it is in the assignment description on the job board. I don't remember getting a separate email about these shops, but they are still showing up on the job board for my area. I sent an email to that address earlier this week asking for more information about the book/assignment, but I never received a reply.
They must have be assigned. I am not seeing anymore. That is good, maybe someone will report back how that went for them.
I already got my score...10 on the report even though my confirmation did not have the name of my order on it. All it had was an order number but that was the way it came. I found the book pretty interesting,. And it gave me a new thing to do while languishing at home.
Or they reached capacity

There were tons of these sitting on the board. I think they assigned a few and removed the remaining shops. @sandyf was one of the chosen few.

I did one. If you like the book it's probably worth it. If you don't, it's not. The report is easy- a few questions and a book report. I couldn't see the book until I had already signed up.

Well, did you like the book you were assigned?

No. I did an objective report, but I wouldn't do the shop again. Not worth it. YMMV.

Definitely the chosen few....ha , ha. But in this case the early bird got the worm. I applied and got the job pretty quickly after seeing it....at the time I was thinking it was probably going to be Mary Trump's book. Well, I was wrong but it was still okay. Just checked the book reviews on Amazon just to see if they are using mine and it
was not there!

To me this sounds like an attempt to sell copies of a book and possibly to get good reviews.
That was fast too. I am glad the book was interesting.

I figured the book would be non-fiction. Which might not be bad depending on the subject. Thanks for replying.

Wow, I got this shop the first day it came out and still haven't had the book delivered. Probably due to me not having Prime? Still, all of you are incredibly fast readers.
