In-N-Out Shops Are Really Back

This is not a joke. If you are a regular shopper for In-N-Out and the MSC has not reached out to you, you may consider reaching out to them. Good luck!

Although I really like the MSC, I had to tell him that I couldn't do those shops anymore. I'm swamped with work at the lab. I'm just doing the quick, easy and lucrative stuff right now. Bascially, doing everything for 2-5 MSCs right now. I wish them luck. I just can't spend any time doing those, which are more like a hobby than anything at the pay rate.
I got a reply from my scheduler and was assigned my local site. I won’t go far for the pay but if it’s close by I don’t mind. Only problem is picking a time when the drive thru line isn’t super long.

I have seen as many as 50+ cars in the drive thru lately. Since, I don't eat the food, I can't do these just to bring home cold food later for somebody else.
It's all good. For each his/her own. I love the food and eat there anyway and certainly don't do them for the money. This month's scenario is extra easy: drive-thru and no restroom check. The long line is a problem but I've figured out some ways to try to avoid the long lines and to use any time I have to wait in line productively.
Good luck with that. Cars start lining up before opening.

I reached out to the scheduler and was assigned, but disappointed because there is no fee, only reimbursement. However, there are rare shops in my area and I have plenty of time right now, so I suppose I'll do it for the free meal.

Maybe somebody else can chime in, but I think that there has always been a fee for this shop?
That's not correct. There is a $5 fee and reimbursement for each shop. It used to be $4 fee but was raised about the time of the pandemic. I just did two last week and have already been paid.

I was just assigned a $0 fee with $9.50 reimbursement. Hamburger, no cheese, large soda and fries through drive thru.
Hmmm. Did Brandon assign it to you? Email him back and ask him. I just did two drive-thru shops for him last Tuesday and got paid Friday.
I do not want to list the fee but my shops have always had a small fee. It appears the fee and the ordering requirements may be different for different regions, though. I am guessing shops that require a more expensive purchase have a lower fee.
OK. I contacted the MSC to try to clear things up, and this is their response:

EVERY In-N-Out is $5 plus the cost of the meal. Obviously the price of the food varies greatly from city to city and region to region, but EVERY store is $5 plus the food cost.

Hope this helps.
I will only do a drive-thru for that price and not at lunch or diner because of the wait because people can not make up their minds.

Well, all the shops are drive-thru shops for now due to Covid, and the shop times are very flexible. Also, my experience has been the wait is actually much shorter for dine-in shops in my area because the dine-in lines are much shorter than the drive-thru lines. People who can't make up their minds are in drive-thru lines, too.
