Skimmer Scanner is a useful app to alert you when a gas station has a skimmer.

After my debit card was skimmed several times and all the money had left my account overnight... (it took the bank about a week to put it back each time) I leave only about $50 in the account and turn off the debit card(s) I am not using that day / week. Oh and the skimming does not only happen at gas stations, I know at least once it was at a large grocery store. I also heard of cases where someone tried to "use" a card that had never ever been used in any real transaction (it belongs to an account that is used for deposits only). I agree with one of the bankers I had to talk to - if those people used all that time and energy on something LEGITIMATE...
Supposedly you can scan for a Wi-Fi skimmer that should not be there and the same for a Bluetooth skimmer but I do that in my bedroom and I get 20 to 30 Wi-Fi's running but haven't tried Bluetooth yet.
Correct! Skimmer Scanner detects Bluetooth devices and alerts when a Bluetooth skimmer shows. When I tested the app in my house, it picked up all my devices and some belonging to my neighbors.

Who is it made by? Because I searched for "Skimmer Scanner" in the app store and I didn't get any results with that name.
