Beware Presto Insta Shops

I completed a Pizza Delivery shop for them and they declined to pay me the $15 shop fee (found out there was no reimbursement for the overpriced pizza) because they said I ordered a 16-inch. There is no mention on the receipt of size and I called the shop who verified I ordered a large 14-inch, as the guidelines stated. Just a reminder to check back to make sure you are getting paid.

A similar thing happened to me - different kind of shop but they refused to pay me because they said the camera angle was incorrect. I stopped doing Presto shops immediately.
Another issue with Presto is the "check in" once you are on location. That can not be done in an area with extremely poor to no cell service. I actually had to drive a few miles away to "check in" on a shop before I could even open the survey. Then I drove back to the shop and took my photos and collected all the info required. I had to drive away again to then input my answers into the app on my phone. I did make a note in the comments that my "check in" was not in the correct location due to lack of cell service. I had a receipt to show I was at the correct location, but what a PITA. This issue added another 36 miles and more time than I wished to spent to the shop.

I still have not heard if it is approved. (Fingers crossed)
Oh, don't EVEN get me started on Presto! I feel my anxiety level rising already! There have been lots of threads about it's inefficiency. You can search the forum.

I believe that I have discovered the problem and its solution to the check in issue. At least in my case, some times the assignment picks up the coordinates of the last location that I was at and then thinks that I am not at the correct location. What I have found is that I begin to answer the questions in my current location then redo (or do it the first time) the check-in and the app figures out that I am in the right location. The next time you have that issue just complete the shop as normal and do the check in and you should be OK. Honestly, I wouldn't worry too much about that step - I have done a ton of them (the check-in is far better than last summer) and never had one rejected for not being in the right place, that is, unless I truly was in the wrong place. I sent an email to the scheduler to cover myself when I forgot to recheck in and all was good. HTH!
