Gene, the only times I'm within six feet of the store employee is when I'm checking their computer and tablet, which probably takes about 10 minutes total. And of course we're all wearing masks. I do the verbal Q&A from much further away, and I'd say there is less person-to-person close contact than with most of the customers who walk in and seek help with their phones at close contact.
But while I take every possible precaution, the reality is that any visit to a store -- mystery shop or otherwise -- contains some degree of risk. If cases in my region start to spike like they are in other regions, I'll reconsider whether I'm comfortable doing these shops.
