WaWa Shops Are Back!

They are on the platform for the first 3 days in November. The guidelines appear the same as pre-chaos.

Just got a few. I'm having trouble with the website, so I assigned on the app. I could not get the available shops to show up on the website - an HTTP error. It is so much easier and faster to assign on the website. I sent a note to their IT support.
BooHoo. No Wawa anywhere near me !

Poor customer service? Don't get mad; get video.
Yes! I am keeping my eye out for the Gobbler. I don't see it yet.

No no...just a Gobbler!

I specifically visited a couple of Wawas when I was in Wilmington last year because of this website. I really wish we had them in Louisville!

WaWa spearheaded the decent gas station food revolution. I'm so glad you got to experience them!

Anyone having trouble with the website. The app is working but I can't log into the website.
I just logged in to iSecretShop (not the MSC) website and had no issues.

New shops are posted for next week.

Does anyone know why we can't order a bowl? They are not limited time items. Just wondering.
Philadelphia is known for cheesesteaks and hoagies. The reason why you can't find either outside of Philly is because of the bread. It's a specific brand and truly makes the sandwich.

WaWa originated in a Philadelphia suburb. The bread they use for their hoagies, while not the same brand, is a very close second. I'm not sure about the quesadillas, clubs, burritos or pitas. I never had those when I lived in Philly.

The bowls don't have the bread, so you are not getting the "Philadelphia Experience."

I live in the Philly suburbs, not far from Wawa's corporate offices. Wawa used to use fresh Amoroso rolls years ago. They changed the rolls to parbaked rolls, so customers no longer get that authentic Philly hoagie taste anymore. I'm sure they saved money.

I'm guessing the bowls take less preparation and not the timings they are looking for.
I did not know that Philly WaWa no longer uses Amoroso rolls! That is a disappointment.

I did them a lot . Last few I did at the middle of March. After visits I discovered from the paper that few of them I visited had COVID cases. So waiting for two weeks to be clean not such good time. As someone stated the instructions are the same as prior COVID and I passing them on for now.

The January shops only require pics of the sandwich and receipt. The reimbursement is still $6.

I haven't seen any this week. Are they gone? I'm so sad.

So has anyone tried the brisket?
I have. It was okay but a little mushy for me.
They have a shop to buy the new burger and fries for dinner. The reimbursement does not cover the purchase.

I saw pasta shops as well. I was too late to pick up any, or maybe they were only shopping certain locations. They need to increase their reimbursement since prices have gone up. I have no interest in the burger but I would try the fries. Maybe they will give fries as a reward. Their rewards are not as good as they used to be.
Their rewards got awful for a little while. They went from free classic hoagies to $2 off; free coffees to any size for $1.29. And the rewards had a short duration. A member had a few weeks to redeem them.

They are getting better. A few months ago, they had free coffee Tuesdays for the entire month. I have a shorti reward that expires next month. I got a free latte.

If they do rewards for the burger and fries, I'll try them.

When you order on the kiosk, the burger and fries were available as a combo. That made the price under $7. I picked one up for tomorrow.

WaWa is offering double rewards in March.

My dinner shop was today. I was pleasantly surprised! The meal was very tasty and fully customizable.

The downside was the fries took 10 minutes to make fresh as there were none under the heat lamp.

The report was typical. It asked about competitors.
