WaWa Shops Are Back!

They were mostly in So Jersey for years, but have recently expanded to No Jersey. Their sandwiches (subs/hoagies) are really good. I have picked up several shops for this month.

I love WaWa, but the closest one to me is about 25 miles away, so I only go there if I have other business in the area. But when we go to the Jersey shore, we stop at several.

I learn something new every day, but not everyday!

Actually, Wawa is truly a southeastern Pennsylvania institution, but it has become very popular in NJ and DE as well. They slowly moved south to Virginia, then jumped all the way down to Florida to serve the snowbirds.

There was one in Lancaster years ago when we first moved to south-central Pa, but it closed. Now they've opened one back up in the same general area, and there's one up between Adamstown and Lancaster. You have to go out to Gap, which is quite a ways from where I live and where the Lancaster ones are, before you hit another one.

I'll be in Delaware, Pennsylvania and NJ in August and looking forward to picking up a couple Wawa shops. Any advice and/or thoughts on the report, is it long/short, easy/hard?
I have found that it is much easier to complete the report using the app on my smartphone. I take photos of the receipt and of the food item first, and then find them when needed in my Gallery. Keep the receipt from the kiosk to help you with timing. You are supposed to turn it in at the deli once you pay, but no one cares anymore if you keep it. The report is easy and takes me maybe 5 minutes.

Download the WaWa app and the iSecretShop (not the client) app. The report is very simple. Take pics of your food.

New picture requirement - exterior trash if you click yes.

They increased the reimbursement by 50 cents.

FYI...They have a limit/rotation on Wawa shops now of 6 per quarter at the same location. I was able to do them every week before the last quarter. When I reached my six it said I could not have more at that location until after 6/30/21.
That is something new. I never ever got into such limitations. I made six this week and picked another four (with some location matching from 6 list) for the next week. I made (10) Wawa's for month of July so far.

If you will to turn it in at the deli once you pay, they eventually will go to garbage bin. Do not bother to do soo. Actually pre-CIVID that was requirements to attach picture of such slip as well.

The MSC now has curbside pickup shops scheduled for select locations. The reimbursement is $8 and 2 items have to be ordered.

It is 6 per location per quarter. You can do a hundred, but not more than 6 at the same one in each quarter. I have the little card on my keys that they scan for my rewards and pay with a credit card. I had some issues with the app not loading in the store so I grabbed one of the key chain ones they had near the register and attached it to my account.
I think that is trial. They will expand such shops in the future. I did not get 2 or 3? The instructions says 2 and/or 3

That bothered me (6 per quarter) because there is a WaWa very close to my job.

I also use the key card since the app proved unreliable.

You can either order a made to order drink or kiosk item and a center store item. It is a trial.

Did new Wawa shop today. Not such easy as standard one. Will see how new program will go.

Same here...Wawa app being so slow after each selection that it drags out completing the shop. A lot of similar comments regarding the app on the Play Store. Also unable to take screenshots of the app.

I was able to take screen shots: this was the easiest thing to do. But my order was not ready when I get in. Already got approval from MSC.

I did one today. My order was not ready, and would never have been ready because the Cashier was too busy to get the center of store item. After seeing my quesadilla prepared, I waited for 10 minutes and then asked about the process. The beverage associate asked the cashier if she had finished the order, and she said no. The beverage associate then got my bottle of soda and handed it to me and told me that get the quesadilla box from behind the Plexiglas screen. It was lukewarm. I never got a complete receipt. The app won't let me take a screenshot due to a security settings. What a mess. I have no idea if it will be approved. There was certainly no bag, no seal, no nothing. I took a photo of what I got.

My curbside shop was pushed out to the 15th. The location is not showing up in the app for curbside.

Tanya was awesome! I would self assign shops when they came out. They following week when my schedule was more definitive, I would make changes on the shop dates. Tanya would approve the date changes right away. Lindsay, not so much.

I did the same thing, HoneyBrown. I could always move the dates around without any hassle.
Tanya is on vacation and will be back on Monday.

The more important to pick days first. After you got them you can change the days more convenient for you.
Got today another mobile app shop.
