RealityBased Coupon Shops

Just a heads up to all —

Last week I was assigned one of those coupons shops by Reality Based. I was not able to complete it because the correct coupon did not show up. Per instructions, I emailed the scheduler and was told to complete the form.

My initial thought was that the shop would be removed. However, when the scheduler asked me to fill out the form, I thought that maybe I would at least get a partial fee.

Alas - still no fee for filling out form. Not a big deal but thought you all should at least know.

The shop log says $0 fee and comments from editor includes “shop not performed.” We’ll see if I’ll get a fee... I’ll report back!

I would reply back to the scheduler or click on The help contact within the shop log. It sounds like they think you didn't do anything versus the coupon wasn't available.
Their schedulers are friendly and responsive, I would try contacting them because I find them to be very fair.

Agree with this! I had one years ago where the coupon wasn't available and they were extremely responsive and I still got paid per their guidelines.
I went to the store and they said that they not accepting the coupon from such app. I got fee from mystery shopping company. I went to another store from the same chain and they accepted the coupon. That is ridiculous but that was true.

They keep having a shop for a major department store that recently went bankrupt and closed a bunch of stores. The MSC want the one in the mall near me shopped.

Do you think if I tried to do the shop and the location is closed, (I'm not sure it is, but they had sign twirlers advertising up to 80% off last month) I could get paid the shop fee?

You would need to call first to verify they're open. if they're not, let the scheduler know and they'll remove the shop but I don't think they're going to pay you to show up to a closed location.
