all mystery shopping jobs in one place?

Hi all,
i wonder if there is a place where ALL available mystery shops in my area can be seen (any big metropolitan USA), not just from Sassie companies (Jobslinger) or Shopmetrics companies (Gigspot) but all those PLUS from providers that utilise a different software . I know there used to be a paid service called ShadowShopper, but it had to close down (pity!) and besides, they say the jobs posted on SShopper had a tendency to already be taken by other mystery shoppers. So is there a job board with opportunities updated online and as such still out for grabs?!
Thanks
Alex

Alez,
Sorry to say that there is no such "all-in-one" place.

Most successful MSers are signed up with 50-200 or more MSCs. Clients change MSCs ALL the time; MSCs that had no jobs of interest to you, and/or in your locale, suddenly have shops that you will want.

Here is a rule of thumb for signing up with more MSCs: on any day when you want a shop but have not seen any, sign up with 5 more (or 10 more) MSCs as you investment in the future of you MS business. That is sweat equity that will soon pay off.

Poor customer service? Don't get mad; get video.
Not that I'm aware of. I use Presto constantly. It shows SASSIE-platform users. Other companies, I generally have to check the individual sites.

PITA, I know.

I'll be anxious to watch for other replies; it would be nice to discover like that exists.
thanks guys, that's clear now.
doesn't seem very efficient to do many logins every day to see what's up...probably the two big MS software should meet and talk, merge the jobs on some shared platform, that would do good virtually to everyone involved..
This industry is worldwide and there are many more platforms used by large MSCs than you ,ight imagine. Also, legal issues loom large when competitors even appeal to cooperate, not just in the US but also in the EU and many other locales.

If you think less like an employee and more like and independent business owner (whci, as an IC you are, you may look at things very differently.

Back in the day, I would drive to a city and do shops all day by logging in to several msp's. Then when I got home I uploaded photos and did reports til 11 p.m. It was worth it.

One you get yourself established a little bit ,you'll find that you primarily work with a small handful of MSC's. When I'm at my busiest, I might only do shops for 7-10 different companies in a month with most of them be being the same companies for which I do shops every month. Then, there are a small handful for which I work, doing a few shops every few months, as they are available........ You'll find your niche within the industry and that will help you to identify the companies that tend to offer the types of shops in your wheelhouse.. You'll tend only to deviate from your small handful of MSC's when you don't have quite enough work or when you get contacted by a scheduler - likely due to a company having a new client in the area or a scheduler moving to a different MSC.

Hard work builds character and homework is good for your soul.
It may seem to you there are two main platforms but in reality for me those are only occasionally used by me. There are many platforms as Walesmaven said and really as you become more familiar with the individual companies you will understand their rhythms of postings or assignments (and that’s not to say there won’t be many more random opportunities here and there too).

Pigging back on what walesmaven said about it being worthwhile to sign up for all and any companies regardless of your current opinion of what they have or have not...I have been a mystery shopper for 21 years now...and about ten years in I did my one and only shop for a company and one of my most profitable in terms if time and effort. It paid 150.00 in two days (and it did) for me to buy perfume from a mall store, take a picture of it, lose track of it and have my shopping partner (in this case my home from college daughter return it to the store telling them she found it in the food court). It was to test the honesty of the employee (I believe). At any rate the whole shop took maybe ten minutes including the time I inputted it in the mall food court waiting for my daughter to return, paid 150.00 within two days (made my daughter happy to get her 75.00 share of it). The company is still in business and really has “nothing” in my area but that one email and shop was well worth my time.
