Storage Shops & living far away

What do you guys say when you present your ID and it says your home address is 30 miles away from the site? Just need a little help.

I haven't done these. But when I was moving, I rented a storage unit near my new place for a couple months. As I packed up boxes, I took them to the storage unit.
One could be helping an elderly relative clear out their house. My aunt lives 130 km from me, I helped her clear out her house.

I tell them I’m moving to the area. I look up a property on Zillow nearby and use that. I try and pick one that has houses still being built and say that we are building/remodeling a house and ordered new furniture and the house isn’t ready yet because of COVID they are behind.

I just say my sister lives here and I’m moving in with her for a few months and want easy access to what I’m storing.
