Jiffy Oil Change Thorough Audits

Has anyone here signed up for or completed a White Glove Audit at a "in-n-out" oil change? If so, how was it. I had trouble corresponding with the MSC so I cancelled the one I scheduled.

Not sure if I can go further and name the MSC but it is one that only uses KODO Hub for reporting.

I did a bunch of these for the last MSC, one that offered $75 for them. First, you have to spend AT LEAST two hours on site, usually that time is 2-3 hours. The audit is absolutely white glove, too, it took a couple audits of needing to submit zoomed in pictures of things that I never would have otherwise reported. Fortunately I had the extra pictures, so yes, you want to take "extra" pictures here. You will spend about another 30 minutes or so once home to sort through your pictures. Then, another 30-60 minutes on the report.

This was a good project at $75. That was fair compensation. $25 is an embarrassment.

I got a call asking me to do one 75 miles away for $50 the same day as the lunchtime call. I said I could go later in the week for $200. They said they’d get back to me.

I completed one yesterday. It does take a minimum of 2 hours because you have to time 3 cars who come in for an oil change. You are dependent on the availability of the employees and if they are busy, you could be there a long time. You do take the pictures directly in the app, so once I left the shop, I was done. No transferring of pictures at home. There is no way these should be completed for $25 and I got a bonus which only made it tolerable.

I was going to do 4 but cancelled because there was NO communication. I knew the pay was low for what was expected but I needed the work.

I agree with no communication. They work from home and call you via Voip. My cell phone company blocks Voip calls due to considering them "spam". I couldn't call them - even to ask questions (can't call a Voip number, they are non-existent). They said to text them instead. In my mind this is no way to run a business.
As far as the pay, I also agree these should be $75 minimum considering the time and extensive inspection they are requiring.

I was contacted by the MSC company directly, I refused due to low fee and this was after they offered three times the stated fee. Each location would take about two and half hours plus driving.

Luckily I had already passed on those shops.

Be careful. I had big problems with their app filing the shop online at the site. They Will pay big bucks but it is a big problem if it takes 4 hours getting filed. I still have not found the directory on my phone where the pictures were stored.
