Orange Home Store OSA audits - any adivce?

Anyone have any advice for the OSA audits at the Orange branded home improvement stores?
The guidelines don't look that difficult, but wanted to see from all of your experiences if anyone has had issues.

There was a description of the shop on another thread here. If I recall, they said it didn't pay enough for the time involved. He had to wait quite a while to get assistance which is one of the requirements.

Here is one where it was mentioned a little. [www.mysteryshopforum.com]
Advice? Yep. Take it at $125. (But in all fairness, I mention that the nearest one to me is 100 miles away, and I would be utterly reluctant to accept it at $125. I have, in fact, turned it down at $125.)
Download the store app on your phone, and use it to find out where the item is located in the store, if needed. Make sure to get the entire bay, and at not too much of an angle, if possible. Take extra pictures. Don't be too self-conscious about taking the pictures.
Great tips, mystery2me. I just took a nearby one at $125. Based on the questions and guidelines it is hard to imagine it wouldn't be worth doing one at that fee, even if there are waits to get an associate's help or in the return line.
This involves... how many shop types in one?

1. Order, pickup, and evaluate those processes.
2. Enter store, evaluate timings and associate.
3. Buy stuff. Load it in a specific order in the cart so as to set up a particular eval for the cashier.
4. Audit specific bays.
5. Make purchase & wait at least 10 minutes before returning the stuff you just bought.

Except for downloading apps and ordering something before you get there, all steps in the procedure take place on one lot. This might be efficient for some shoppers.?

I was already on the way home from the city/nearest location when I saw the e-mail for this. Oh, well. If it comes around again, I might build a day around it.

Mine took more than 2 hours on site, plus prep and report time. Not exactly the highest paying shop, but not bad either considering mine had a moderate bonus. Last year I did a handful of these, and found they got much easier over time.
My first one took 90 minutes in store and 30 minutes to report. I didn't have to wait to be helped for the specialty item but did have an issue with an item that couldn't be located, so my guess is future visits will end up taking about the same amount of time. I couldn't imagine doing it without the app and SKU numbers. At $125 I picked up four more, which, if all goes well, means I'll be making more in fees this week than I did in all of 2020 with this MSC.
Has one done the "pro" version of this shop? No curbside or carpet inquiry, but I can't help but wonder if those time savings aren't negated by having to spend more time waiting for associates to help with the bulkier items.
From what I have seen from shoppers (I'm one of the schedulers on the project), the time seems to be about the same. For $125 I think the pay is extremely fair, even for a 1st time. The first shop does take a bit longer since you aren't used to it, but once you have the hang of it the shop takes about 2 hours total including the report.

Thank you!

I, too, think $125 is fair. I just personally hate the shops. I'm 100% disabled, and after 20 minutes on my feet, I find it impossible to function. And after I muddle through, I have to drive at least 2 hours to get home, and sweat the report.

It's too bad, too, because I could have done a dozen within reasonable driving distance (i.e., back home before dark).
When I started, these were taking 2+ hours. Now that I know the system and assuming I look up the item locations before I get there, I can complete them in 80 to 100 minutes depending upon how busy the store is and how many items are out of stock. $100 is more than fair if there isn't a huge drive. This ended up being a cash-cow project for me in the past couple of weeks. I hope the project comes back this year sometime.

In my experience, the PRO is easier and faster than the OSA.
