What are the odds?

Has anyone had this happen before?

I did an easy shop at Lowe’s Home Improvement. The cashier did not say anything and was not pleasant at all. I reported the shop as such and moved on with my life.

The next day I did a USPS shop. Guess who was the clerk? The cashier from Lowe’s. They were rude and did not hit any of the requirements that the postal service asks or their employees.

I’ve never had this happen before, but at least this clerk was rude at both places!

Oh, my.....

My weirdest experience..... I was in the Oakland airport, getting ready to fly back home after a week of video shopping in the Bay area. While I was waiting to board, the intercom system called out the first and last name of an alias I had been using, requesting that the person report to an airline counter....

Hard work builds character and homework is good for your soul.
Ha, maybe they were evil twin sisters or brothers. Did they seem to remember you at the second place? Ot else that was the fastest firing and getting another job after the Lowes reading of your report in history.

I got the same server on two shops in two totally different restaurants two days in a row. The first day it was a lunch shop. The second day it was a dinner shop at a restaurant that wasn't open for lunch. She was a good server and I had no complaints. The reports were from two different msc's too!
I had one guy show up at a Best Buy shop, and then he was at a cell phone that was a mile up the road and around the corner. And he let everybody in the cell phone store know it.
My husband and I were doing a route of gas stations in western NY about 12 years ago. An employee (turned out he was the owner) I had just shopped at one station showed up while I was browsing the aisles at the next station. I ducked down quick, but obviously couldn't leave without him seeing me. I just finished the shop, but he guessed I was the shopper. I haven't been back to that location since, but I remember and mention it every time we pass that exit!
I shopped a financial adviser for a big investment firm. Ihree+ years later he turned up, and I shopped him, at a branch about 75 miles away. I was using a different alias and wore my hair differently but he said that I looked "familiar." I told him that I had heard that I had a doppelganger in (name of town near first shop) and I sure hoped she behaved herself.

Poor customer service? Don't get mad; get video.
I did two USPS shops a few hours a part. I had the same clerk at both.... I assume she was a floater or something? She did not recognize me or if she did, she played it off well!
I shop a banking client in Oklahoma. They have a few floating bankers that fill in at different locations. I once shopped the same banker three times in the same week at three different locations. Chances are, he knew I was a shopper. (The three visits got progressively better according to shop standards). I was the guy of last resort, however, and these shops were highly bonused. I didn't say anything and I got accepted and paid.
I used to do a route of temp agency shops where they had you fill out the application on the computer in the lobby and then usually interviewed you on the spot (or within a few minutes). Because the database was shared among all locations, you had to use a different name for every shop. One time, I was waiting to be called back for my interview, and the lady who had interviewed me at the previous location about half an hour away walked in and visited with the receptionist at this location. Someone else called me back by the new name, and I had to walk right past the lady to get to the interview room! I'm so glad she didn't say anything to me (had a confused look on her face though), but I felt so awkward!

Happily shopping the Pacific Northwest. Shopping since 2013 smiling smiley

There are several Burger King employees (In my area) that float from other BK's to help out.. One week they may be at BK restaurant # 1 and the next week they may be at BK restaurant # 2.
Just a couple of months after I started shopping I was doing a revealed Medicare shop. The agent turned out to be my neighbor. Good thing it wasn't a mystery shop since I was pretty sure she knew I was nowhere near the correct age range.
