Hi Steve. Welcome to the forum!

If you read threads in various sections, you will see companies advertising for editors.

I hope this helps!

Hi all
Is anyone aware of any MS companies hiring proof readers ??

I know that [wordsmithpros.com] is working with at least one of the major MSPs.
Also - try joining some Facebook Groups with "proof reader" or "freelance editor" in the group name.
There are also some helpful Reddit subreddits that link proof readers with clients.
Good luck!
You have already gotten excellent tips and leads but continue to ask for information handouts. Most of us spend a considerable amount of time searching, researching and procuring assignments. Personally, I am offended that you've come here to ask for quick and easy directions straight to your goal and have  not mentioned any routes you have already taken on your own to reach that goal. Moreover, anyone who does editing, enjoys it and makes a living probably would not give you much information, as well they shouldn't, because you would then become competion for them in obtaining those gigs.  My 2 cents, that's all.
If people’s work was of a sufficiently educated standard then clients would not seek additional help and support and a simple ask from someone who resides in a different country is not a breach of the freedom of information act and again should oh wish not to reply then it is free speech and that you are offended shows that you feel threatened by a basic question and that’s my 5 cents

So how about just Steve? Steve, if you want to be a proof-reader, why limit yourself to just mystery shopping companies. They look for editors, which may be a little different than a proof-reading job. This is a forum mainly made of people on the receiving end of work - not people who have job leads. Perhaps doing a Google search of proof-reading jobs may give you better success than this forum.

Hi Steve, welcome to the Forum. Don't know what aspect of mystery shopping you might be interested in, but check out the New Mystery Shoppers section. Hope you will find some helpful stuff there.
