Kratom buy-and-return shops

Anyone done these? I had never heard of "Kratom" before this, apparently it's an Asian plant whose extract is purported to have therapeutic effects such as pain relief ... but it's also a potentially mind-altering substance and appears to be frowned on by a lot of medical experts (liver damage is one major potential effect). Amazed it isn't regulated in most states, it's sold widely in smoke shops.

I did one of these a few days ago, doing another tomorrow, it's a super-easy shop but it's a 2-day shop because you have to return it unopened the next day. So you can only really do it if the shop is near you.

The client seems interested in whether they'll let you buy it with a credit card, whether the smoke shop advertises it in their window, whether the shop posts MasterCard/Visa logos, and whether they'll let you return it, and if so, do they refund you with a credit card refund or cash?

Warning: The MSC promises to reimburse you up to $15 if the return is denied and assures you in the instructions that the purchase price "should be less than $20." My purchase while visiting a rural area cost $21.39, if my return had been denied I would have been out $6.39 for something I ain't putting in my body.

The MSC will guarantee the return as long as the purchase is reasonable. I would just make sure that the scheduler knows that the minimum purchase was above $15 and include a note as such in the report.

I've done a couple of these but I've always been able to get a refund.

Yeah, on my first one, I ran into a situation where the clerk was a "connoisseur" who asked me some questions about what "benefits" I was looking for, then went to a tablet and researched different strains before coming back with a recommendation for the unit he sold me at $21.39. I felt like it might have set off a bell to ask "Got anything cheaper?" as I had already identified myself as a first-time buyer.

Today's purchase was easier, the guy didn't care, he just sent me to a cabinet and said pick one. I picked one within reimbusement. smiling smiley

Could you name the MSC? I don't believe Kratom is the client.
