Doing my first reveal today. Kind of excited. Kind of nervous. Just putting that out there! :-)

I did a reveal shop for a "Crab" restaurant. The reveal was mandatory regardless of success. I was a bit uneasy at first since they failed on a few levels. When I returned with the results (you have to speak to the manager) I just emphasized the good and ignored the negative. They required that if they ask you for details you instruct them to contact their regional mnager. It was a lot easier than I thought it would be (I hate confrontation).

The reveal if they pass shop is the best. Most of the time the parameters are so hard you never reveal yourself. If you do have to reveal it is on a positive note.

Good luck. The first one is always the hardest!.
Sorry my Samsung Epic made a double post.

Did my first reveal yesterday at a hotel for their Gold passport program...thought I would die, the Manager seemed so scared, asked if they got a good review....OMG...I thought the money was good, but after doing it, really should pay more, just because of the stress factor....

Live consciously....
I really liked the reveal shops they used to have on behalf of the cola company s few summers ago. Waiting for the courrier to bring the gifts to my home was a drag, but otherwise it was fun.
I survived. It wasn't so bad, and it appeared that the managers were expecting this to happen at some point. They both (I did two) looked like they knew what I was talking about. The one nice thing about these shops is that you can bring your forms in. As soon as I "revealed" myself, I pulled out the form and sat in the shop eating my lunch (the same lunch I just shopped them with!) while I filled out the report. I could check my answers and make sure I had filled everything out completely, and even ask for names if I needed. That was nice!
