In-Home Estimate Shops - How much?

Hello shoppers - a theoretical question for all of you: If we were to post mystery shopping opportunities that involved contacting a local residential home service provider and scheduling an in-home visit (1-2hours), what would you expect to be paid by the MSP? Would you find $40 to be fair and enough to motivate you to apply for the shop? Assume that the survey would take no more than 30 minutes to complete. Thank you for your insights!

I live in Seattle where the minimum wage is currently $16.69/hr. A two-hour visit plus a thirty minute report, amounts to $16/hr. Moreover, there will be some additional time reading guidelines and prepping for the shop, which could be significant, depending on how complex it is.... In this area, you'll likely need to be at least $50 before folks start to bite.

I am, personally, a lot pickier and would not likely consider the shop unless compensation is a lot higher.

The windows paid at least $60 per visit. A lot of details to write in the LONG report.
