Extra Space Storage Insurance Shops

I need to see if I'm missing something with these jobs. You have to rent a unit. The guidelines say if you've done this job in the past that you'll have to use a different name and/or phone number. The problem is they won't rent to you without seeing your ID. Which has your real name. How? How can you do this job more than once unless you have a fake ID?

If you are just getting information, you don't need to provide your ID..

You are revealed as a mystery shopper if the shop goes correctly. There really is no was to do more than one shop unless you have another ID.

Generally, this is correct. My scheduler said I could take a spouse with me and rent the space in her name with her ID. I have not tried that, but I did do two shops a year apart in Las Vegas and one about a year later in Mesa, AZ with my own ID and no issues.
