Some Blue gas changes this round

The limit is now 15 per day instead of 10 (Yay!). We are still looking for two specific types of oil and a photo is still required either way but now there only has to be a total of six facings and it doesn't matter if it's one type, the other or both. I haven't read everything yet...

That's a game changer, although I was getting a little spoiled doing only 10 some days.
Yes! Now, with the new, lower bonus amounts, we can make almost the same money in a day by doing 15 stations and working more hours!
any luck on “bonuses” to start the quarter? i didn’t start doing any until march last quarter since there was no money until then.

So far with the new oil requirement, I've answered both ways.
When I've answered that there were more than 6 facing of just one type passed, I received a lower score due to my answer (the person reviewing my answers left comments that I should review the oil requirements).
So, after being instructed that my answer was incorrect, later shops that I answered "No" even though there was more than 6 facings of one type, my score was a "10".

Most of my gas stations only carry the one type and not the other. Even on my worksheet, I list the the total count on the types. So, I know my answer is correct, yet I cave to the editor's instructions.

All I can say is the editors are obviously not following their company's instructions!
Yup, the oil thing drives me nuts. An editor wrote to me to change my Yes answer to No because they didn't have the required oils. I wrote back and pointed out that there were 8. She apologized, said I was correct, and I received a "10" on the report. So if you think you are correct, don't change it. Maybe they are going by old guidelines. Crazy though

Do you all know what MSC is now handling the blue and gold gas stations that always had great pay, I can’t find what company does them now. Thanks for any info!!
The consensus has been that Sunoco is longer being shopped. No one here has seen them posted with any MSC. Or they're just not telling.

If I were given the opportunity, I would do that. However, I never get that far - the editor just marks me lower with the instruction to review the oil requirements and specifically the types and amounts. Perhaps they believe my amount is incorrect, but, in reviewing my photos for those shops, there is enough in the photo to ascertain the amount. SMH

I named Sunoco but there is no MSC to connect it to. So no violations. That's why I threw the name in.
It doesn't matter; there are no Sunoco in this part of the country anyway. I did buy some stock in the company even though their gas is not available to me.
But answering would.

MSC is not mentioned in this thread so why not mention the gas station? Mobil and Chevron have Blue in their logos. Actually, red, white and blue. lol.

Has anyone seen these on the board yet for the May round? I only see the ones that run from today, out to about May 9, so they may still be trying to finish up the April round. Just wondering since there are usually some 'hard to place' shops in my area for this project.

Thanks.
I'm OK with the blue/red + oil ones with current bonuses, and I've been known to pick them up for base pay if I'm on a route. At base + reimbursement it's $18.50 for less than an hour's overall work.

That being said, I will never do a yellow/red for just base pay, which is the same as the above. Even though the reimbursement is slightly more, there is so much more work involved, plus the creep factor of having to check the other gender's restroom.

I'm totally getting into the other blue/red with the limited reveals, especially when bonuses are involved. I've done a day loop and a big 4-day/3-night loop based heavily around these. I have another day loop tomorrow with 8 of these and 3 of the +oils.
I just realized that many of the blue stations that had been in partnership with a well-known spherical c-store have (within a few hours of me) jumped ship. The whole station is now the c-store brand. This could be another reason why I've seen less blue on the job board and why other shoppers may feel like they've got to get them while they can.
It bothers me at the end of the rotational "Blue" shops where they have a set of new questions of performing them again as the rotation allows.
I've always answered "Yes" for the route shops (where distance is not prohibitive and a route can be made).
However, the subset question asks about performing the shop at night. Since there is never any mention (that I've been able to find) of a "Night" incentive or additional pay, I've just declined.
Much like their subtraction of additional pay ($1 - I know, big whoop! But why not?) for "Synergy" checks and Diesel checks, more work seems to be added without any subsequent or additional earnings.

I always leave a note in the box at the bottom telling them I would be willing to do a darkness audit if there was an additional fee. I've checked both Yes and No to the question. I haven't seen any night audits yet this year.

I'm amazed at those of you who can do 15 a day! It usually takes me 25 mins min to do one, by the time you have to wait for cars to move so you can get all the pump pics. Please post your tips. smiling smiley
If you've taken all your other pics, don't wait on a car to move, get the best shot you can and move on.
Here is how I do mine, and most of the time I am in and out in 20-30 minutes. After handing over my inspection form, the first thing I head over to is the pumps. Starting with pump #1, I will first take all the open pumps photos first. If the pumps are in use, I skip them for the time being. Then I will take my canopy photos, Main station sign photo, overall photos..etc. While I am taking those photos, I keep an eye out on the pumps and seeing if anyone are leaving the pumps that were in use. If I do see one of the pumps become free, I will immediately head over there and take a photo. Sometimes if someone is still at the pump and I can see they're just talking on the phone are scratching off some lottery tickets oh, I will ask nicely if they can move forward and explain I'm there to do an inspection. Most of the time they have no problem doing so. But if after 15 minutes there is still a car blocking the pump, I will take the best photo I can and just explain it to the editor.
Most of the blue gas stations that were in my area are rebranded now. I just picked up a blue gas shop and realized how long it's been since I did them. Do we not have an app for those since last year? I keep checking my most-used shop apps and it's not on any of them. That feels... weird.
