It was the opposite. But anyway they can be finicky about two pictures looking too much alike. I guess you haven't run into that problem but when you've done as many as we have you run into all kinds of issues. There's no worse feeling than doing a long-distance out-of-town route than finding out you are missing a picture you need or they won't accept the shop for some reason (could be timing could be something else). But we have run routes all over Georgia, from Savanna to Columbus to Helen to Valdosta, We have been to the eastern part of Alabama, the panhandle of Florida, the bottom of Tennessee, and even one to Augusta on the South Carolina side. The car I'm trying to put an engine in so I can sell it to get the car note off of me, I put a hundred thousand miles on it easily within a couple of years. (I bought it at like 96,000 miles and it now has 243,000. I've had it for 3 years). But I've probably lost less than 10 shops in over three years and not all were gas stations. I think like one BP from Presto, a couple from MF but it's been a while since that's happened. But with COVID and more shoppers because of COVID and Maritz selling out, routes aren't making as much as they used to. I guess I freak out and panic until it gets approved. With Maritz it wasn't so hard to get 50 dollars a station. That route to the Augusta area, we made over $500 in 24 hours between the two of us. (We got a few bonused nighttime red/blue every pump shops in December right before Christmas each one was worth 50-65, then I added an OSI and a daytime shop for the next morning after checkout at least as we were leaving. )I'm sure they make a lot more than that in the New England states but the cost of living is much higher up there. For down here, that was a great route. But on a two -three hour out route we try to make at least 200-300 a day. But when shops that normally go for 50 go for 40 you are either a shop short or have to take on extra work. After driving home for 2 or 3 hours you don't want to be up all night doing reports. Plus sometimes you don't have a signal in the car all the time depending on where you are. And this car takes more gas than my Camry did. One time they canceled a shop when we were in Florida after we had already left the hotel, but Maritz in their awesomeness still paid full price for it even though it was a paper check.
