We cannot reveal the name of a mystery shop company since you have mentioned a client name. There is at least one mystery shop company out there that does high end department stores.

There are several companies that do high-end shops at stores like Saks, and other companies that have shops of luxury brands that have in-store boutiques at Saks and similar stores. Sign up with as many MS companies as you can and if you live in an area with lots of luxury customers you will see them.

A lot of my high-end retail shops require that you either not make a purchase or that you return the purchase. We're talking merchandise with a minimum value of $500

I have done a few for Nordstrom. Bought $600+ tops. I was going to be back in the area so the return was not a problem. I was so, so tempted to keep one fabulous black sweater but couldn't justify it although DH urged me to treat myself.

Or I would guess in some cases, including mine, the D can stand for Departed.
