Maybe I’m just having a grumpy day.

I’m sure many of us got the email from AboutFace that started “what would you do when $75?”
I don’t know why that set me off but suddenly I realized that this type of email is so common in this business that we probably don’t even notice then anymore. The one where we’re treated like juveniles who are expected to get excited over being given money for work! Think of all the wondrous adventures I could go on with $75!!

Just another reason why most people struggle to take this business seriously. ????

$75 - not much but how about $500? That might get me a little more excited.

Well, I would definitely open the email to see what it was and might actually go for it since most jobs I see pay anywhere from $3 to around $15. I could do a lot more with $75 than with $3.

This is an unprofessional business. The schedulers are paid at about the same rate as the common shopper, which is about minimum wage. The owners of the MSC's generally treat both like s**t, so why would you be surprised? The prospect of earning $75 is a windfall for most in the business. LOL.
