I think I got bamboozled!

Need to vent real quick and see if anyone else is in the same boat. I recently filled out a questionnaire from a large MSC about auto insurance for a project they were going to start. This included obtaining a quote from an auto insurance company and possibly purchasing said policy. There would be multiple companies that I would be assigned and could make a good bit of money.

Well......I should have known better. The shop fee was $75. Not bad until I got involved in the shop. I do not think in my close to 15 years doing this have EVER seen So.Many.Questions! It involved completing a quote online then calling the call center to finish the quote. Minimum of 200 questions, with about half of them requiring a narrative of 150 to 200 words. Not joking at all! Are you kidding me right now! It took me close to three hours just to do the report. Did anyone else get suckered into this? How are you coping with this endless report for crap pay?

Sorry, rant over. Moral of the story...ask to see the guidelines and report before committing to such craziness!

live and learn. I would have simply canceled upon seeing the report. If it took 3 hours total thats $25 an hour so not bad but I do get you.

Shopping Western NY, Northeast and Central PA, and parts of Ohio and West Virginia. Have car will travel anywhere if the monies right.
Be sure to opt out/unsubscribe from any insurance contacts you made, or you will be getting endless ins email quotes and contacts.
I mean, like someone else said, if it’s 3 hours work, then it’s ~$25/hour. Seems like a decent shop.

Shopping the Greater Denver Area, Colorado Springs and in-between in Colorado. 33 year old male and willing to travel!
Yeppers, $75 with no wear and tear on my car? Jump right on that one.

Writing doesn't bother me.
For some of us the wear and tear is on our mindswinking smiley
