Cashier at liquor store

Hi everyone, the sales person asked if I needed help. I said I was looking for wine for a friend I did not know well. He kept walking and said ask for help if you need it. At the register same guy took my cash. I was sure I gave him $16 not $15. When I asked for the change he said I only gave him $15. When I tried to give him the .18 he said not to worry. Just write what happened lol

So... umm... how did the cashier know that you were a mystery shopper?

[My guess? Corporate/management has your name and image and all employees can id you when you arrive. So much for keeping the mystery in mystery shopping.]

IMHO, the OP's message is garbled. I don't think that the OP is saying that the cashier knew that they were a mystery shopper. I think that "Just write what happened lol" is just an instruction from the OP to themselves, and then a commentary (LOL). I trust that the OP takes greater care when submitting reports than when posting here.
