Car wash shops?

I just saw a car wash shop which I've never noticed before. It pays nothing but reimburses you up to $25. I looked at the car wash website and can't understand what I would choose, they seem to be packages and memberships. Anyone done this one? Is it worth it? It might be fun to get my car washed with my kids but not if the reimbursement doesn't cover it and/or the report is super long.

Some of the car wash shops detail EXACTLY what you may order. If you don't order correctly, the shop will be rejected.

But I guess that's basically true of any mystery shop, isn't it?

That MSC doesn't cover the basic car wash in my area. I have never seen it bonused.

Shared Insight has a shop that fully covers the basic car wash and tip.

It tells you to get the inside and outside cleaned, but $25 does not come close to paying for that. I had to go back and forth with the help desk multiple times because the directions made no sense based on the products offered.

Interior alone is $16.

Not sure which company you’re referring to but if it’s the one who does the sonic shops their car wash shops are a breeze and the report is short.

i liked the car wash shop that CI had but alas it's gone now. Wish it would come back with a new company.

I used to do Delta Sonic as much as possible in Western NY. They also had oil changes with decent pay and reimbursements.

it did come back with a different company but so far have not seen any car waxes.

So these used to be with an MSC with insanely easy reports, who then went out of the MS business. Then these shops were picked up by a company who had trouble paying shoppers because someone took over payroll/finance and was left with a mess. Then you didn't see these shops for a while. Are they back now with a 3rd company?

Starting this year, the reimbursement did not cover the cost. The shop had no fee. I quit that company and went with the one that covers the wash, tip and pays a fee.
