Usps shop rejected due to HOLD FOR PICKUP

I follow all the guidelines and ship priority. Now, I'm being told its rejected due to HOLD FOR PICK UP. That was never asked for nor stated on the receipt. So, how can I fight this? I've already messaged the "rejection" person inquiring further detail and not received a reply. WT heck!! I feel we are at THEIR MERCY on if they LIKE the shop or wanna give a free ride to the contracted company. These are one of the few shops Ive been doing but...I think my time has come...Supertramp sang it well..." I must be moving on!"

Wow. Never had that happen. They must have attempted delivery and left a notice for the customer to go to the post office to pick up the package. Sorry it happened to you. Have you tried tracking it yourself? You can see easily if it went out for delivery and was returned to the P O.
If these are the same shops I do for the post office they dont care if the package was delivered. The shop is over when you leave the post office and send in your report. I have had packages that never arrived and I have had to put in an insurance claim.
Did you send the package to a PO Box? or not a regular address. Here they just put them in the addressee's mailbox. There is no need to sign for the packages sent priority as far as I know.
I've never had anything like that happen, either, and I've done hundreds of these shops. Last year, I even had a box RETURNED TO ME, because the establishment I sent the box to went out of business, unbeknownst to me, but the shop had been approved & PAID, LONG BEFORE the box was returned to me. I researched the tracking and saw what had happened. The shop is usually over when you leave the post office, unless you sent it to a PO Box or an APO address. So strange that that happened to you. I agree you should keep researching it, and as another poster suggested, look up the tracking and see what happened.
Its to a home address. Again, I didnt request a Hold for Delivery. Also, sent priority and PAID for Priority, receipt says so and they are stating it didnt fall.within the guidelines...needed to be sent PRIORITY...WHAT??
Very strange. If the receipt does not say anything different than it always says, how would the msc even know the package had an issue? I wonder if you by mistake answered one of the questions on the survey form incorrectly. My scheduler is always very responsive when I email her so I would recommend contacting them and If you heard from the editor and have their contact info I would contact them first.
Package was delivered the next day. Even before the editor dismissed the shop....smh...
Well, of course, I contacted the editor for clarification before posting here. She again repeated her original dismissal reason...priority was needed and no HOLD FOR PICK UP. Priority was done and it was delivered the next day to the FRONT PORCH!
ERRRR.. they will always win if they want to dismiss a shop.

You should fight it. I would sent an email to the editor cc the scheduler and copy paste the information from the usps tracking that states it was delivered at the front porch. Also attach the receipt. Politely state whether she has confused your shop with another one because there is nowhere anything stating about hold for pick up so you really do not understand where the information is coming from.
I agree, sounds like it's a mix up of some sort. They should allow the shop. Send the receipt again.
