Anyone else have a scheduler make a mistake?

I got an email from a scheduler telling me that she canceled a shop that I was doing tomorrow, and then after I sent her a email back saying I didn't cancel the shop, when she looked into it she realized it was her mistake, she said my name and the other person's name was similar, but she had already assigned the location to someone else, at a higher rate, what would you do?

I would ask her to correct her mistake, unassign the shop from the other shopper, and reassign the shop to me at the original rate.
I would mutter the serenity prayer and let it go . . . hopefully you'll score some future points with the scheduler for not making a big issue of her error (and at least she admitted it was her error). Stuff happens.
Schedulers have a very tough job. I can't imagine how they keep track of it all, with many assigning for multiple projects/companies.
But I would also send the scheduler a polite, carefully worded email letting her know you've let it go :-)

I am feeling much better about the misstate today, it's just been really frustrating lately, gas prices are really high, really good shops that once were, are not paying like they used to, it was just really frustrating. The scheduler did what she could and I thanked her and told her I appreciated it and I really did. I just hope things start improving some in my area.
Gas prices are killing me. Unfortunately, there are no used cars available; I have some money saved, and desperately need a car that gets better mileage and uses regular gas! There are many great things about my car, but economy is not one of them. Makes it more and more difficult to build reasonably profitable routes. I don't mind saying I aim for $25 an hour, each and every hour I'm away from my home Sorry, MSC, I can't afford to drive 270 miles round trip for $100! I did manage a couple of end-of-quarter shops today, and put together a 350 mile route that took 7 hours and earned $240....but the days are long gone when I could earn $500 before lunch, or $1200 on an overnight route.

I was once scheduled for a shop on the wrong date - about 20 years before the then current date. I inquired if the MSC would supply the time travel machine directly or if it would be reimbursing my rental of one.

Twenty years back in a time machine. All I would need to do is short real estate until 2010, buy Microsoft and ignore the Great Recession, etc.

The place I know has offices in Williamsport, Atlantic City, and Dover. But they are all outside your territory.
As a scheduler, almost gave a shopper a $1,500 bonus once instead of a $15 bonus. Luckily the editor caught it!

Bet that shopper wouldn’t have minded a scheduler error ????

Thank you!
