Kia Photo Audit

Has anyone done one? There's one not far from me, but the fee seems a bit low. I'd like to wait to see if they tack on a bonus, but it might be good experience, since I rarely do this type of audit.

There's another one quite a ways from here, but I'm going to be almost right next door to it this coming week (closer than my local dealer), so it might be worth a try.

Hi Birdy. I did this audit a few years ago. Do not take it for base pay! It is a lot of work and time consuming. Later in the month, it will be bonused 4x the fee.

You will be auditing the maintenance shop and taking a lot of photos. You will be there for at least 2 hours and that's if the shop person is willing.

Thanks, Honny. It definitely sounded like this would take more than the hour they indicate in the guidelines.

Surprise, surprise, surprise!

Equine24 opines--The current MSC is not one that in the past has bonused much. I am not optimistic.

Bob comments--With said MSC, it is a matter of waiting until their need is great enough to raise the bar on fees. They conduct business in a responsible manner that does not include paying their contractors more than necessary. Low fees exist because some shoppers are either in need or subscribe to the adage that something beats nothing. I am in neither situation, so I am paid significantly higher dollars, but only because I have adopted the stance that I will have my money and/or reimbursement; if not, I will sit.
I thought it was kind of lowballed for the amount of work listed. Plus the 1 and a half hours before dark.
I am offered the audit for $50. Is it worth it? I am not given much detail on what the shop entails, just that it involves taking photos of the dealership and service areas.
It's a LOT of photos. Give it a try.

Different photo audits for this dealer. This is not only about being in the shop and tools, but overall. The shop one I did not the last round but prior rounds. This is overall, starting before dusk just makes it easier to get exterior and get to all areas.
The one in my area is still up at base price. I'd love to try it, because I like to take pictures, but I'm not doing it for base fee.
